So I just started an Asian fashion inspired hand made jewelry line. The price range is around $15-30. Do you feel like its Acen enough xDDD

I think they are very pretty, as for selling at Acen, well, you have clothing booths coming back year after year in the exhibition hall, so I can't see why they wouldn't, maybe make a few that are anime inspired for people to buy for their costumes.

That's a really good idea. I never thought of making Cosplay earrings. Hmm I wouldnt even know where to start!

How much is a booth again? (sorry for crazy simple question xDDD)

They are pretty & the prices seem fair, but when I go into the dealer's room, I go planning on spending my money on anime related items. Though if I saw some anime related jewelery or cosplay pieces, I'd be interested & I think it would sell well.

This past year (2010) we had people selling accessories and some steampunk-y jewelry as well in Artists' Alley, so there is a precedent.

Artists' Alley is first come first serve though, so if you're interested definitely keep your eyes out once registration starts, check the FAQ, etc.
It's only natural that a staffer of Anime Central is able to do this.

While I think they are really pretty on their own, I'm not sure that the Asian influence is very obvious. If you were to model them on/dress up in gyaru, Lolita, hime-kei, or something similar, then I think you could get away with it, but otherwise, it might be beneficial for you to make some designs especially for Acen.

That's just my 2 cents. I dunno, in the exhibit hall last year I felt there was a bit of goth/medieval stuff that didn't have anything to do with Japan, so if they're equally as lenient with the artist alley, and as long as people have an interest in your style, maybe you're ok after all.

I just don't know if you'd be able to fill up a whole 2 x 8' table with just jewelry, but it's definitely something to consider. It's only $60 for a table, so it's something to consider. ^^
