Starting early to get things started for 2011!
2010 photoshoot was chaotic so here is to make things the best for next year!
We will be in a different location so we're not so cramped and taking up the sidewalk.

I will update the front page with people attending the photoshoot every month until ACEN 2011.

Let's make next year better than this year~. :3 I'm gonna go the human route this time. Hopefully I can shape up enough to do Phoebe. If not, I'll probably be some random npc trainer or one of the twins (Tate and Liza).

Now, suggestions for next year. Would that area next to Expoteria be good or is that too small too? Maybe there should be assistants for the shoot so if the leader can't get people's attention, the assistants can help. ._.

I'm planning on a Team Rocket Grunt cosplay with the boyfriend! So count him and I in.

If that fail's I'm going to make a Umbreon gijinka, possibly shiny.

I have my mind set on being Ivysaur. I usually don't stick with one idea for an extended period of time, so I might not be Ivysaur, but I will definitely be a pokemon. My friend will be definitely be a Driftloon, since she got her cosplay done, but didn't get to go to Acen this year.

Random suggestion time:
One idea I had..sounded way better in my head and sounds super lame now that I actually had time to think about it, but I'll say it anyway: How about all the gijinkas set aside a little extra time to make small plushies/acessories to represent physical attacks n' junk for photoshoot battles?

I know, the idea probably won't work for a good deal of attacks n' stuff due to a lot of them being..really hard to reproducable in reality such as Volt Tackle, Water Sport, etc., but for those moves that can be illustrated somehow(like Sweet Kiss, Teeter Dance, Uproar..) could make for a pretty awesome shoot. If everyone could just get one little prop-thingy/move action down and then come to the photoshoot, we could randomize "battles" and have everyone fight with whatever they brought and see where it goes from there.

..I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. xD

If for some reason I can't do Sabrina, I have Porygon and Victreebel gijinka cosplays as backup.

I'd love to see you do Girafarig. I've only seen about 2 people cosplay as that pokemon; both boys. I hope you'll enjoy getting your butt photographed. xD

Maybe Girafarig then! I don't quite like the white headband, but something like it should be there. Most people I've seen with te costume make the headband too small.
Also, I've always wanted to do a Poochyena. They're so cute and terrifying at the same time.

I could do shadowball for Poochyena, and not so sure what to do for Girafarig.

:DIES: Ohmygod, my bf had the exact same idea. This year I had wanted my Glaceon friend to bring down an ice bucket and throw ice during the shoot (Glaceon! Use Ice Shard!), but in the chaos to make it to the shoot, we forgot it... T_T We're planning on making little plush attack icons for our friends (Ember, Thunder, Shadow Ball, etc., etc.)

Well, in regards to next year's photoshoot: I will be returning in my Flareon cosplay. It was way too much fun. My bf will be Umbreon again and we will be bringing a Glaceon (F), Espeon (F), Shiny Umbreon (M), Leafeon (M), a re-vamped Jolteon (M), a Jessie and James, Bellossom (F), Ditto (M), and (hopefully) a Pachirisu (F) and Wobbuffet (M). I'm going to try really hard to get my whole group of friends in this.

Also, if extra help is needed to run the photoshoot, I'd be glad to help. I think the Loading Docks area would be the best area for the photoshoot unless they have have a larger area set up next year.

Oh, and ACen 2011 is going to be from May 20 to 22, if anyone wanted to know.

Thanks for the information guys! The loading docks might also be too small =/
So I was thinking of the patch next to River Rd. past the convention center and before
the Hyatt. Its nice and big and there are some trees for scenery ^^

I love the idea for the attack props! I'm not revealing who i'll be for next year but i'll
look into some of my attacks ^^ Hopefully i'll be bringing another Pokemon person with me.

I really REALLY wanted to pull together my OC trainer for 2010, but I just ran of out time.
You don't have to put me on the list, but I'mma see if I can pull it off for next year.
My friend was Leaf this past ACen, and I went with her to the photoshoot. Yeah, it was pretty

So, how's everyone doing? (Overall, not on their cosplays. Is anyone even working on their cosplays at this point in time? xD)

I think I'll be a Houndour instead of an Ivysaur. The only problem is that Houndour doesn't really have any moves that I can ideally incorporate into plushies or props. :I

My ideal moveset:

• Beat Up - Call on a bunch of people to beat up some poor unsuspecting soul.
  
• Attract - Idk. Peck opponent on the check, then put a heart sticker on his face? Walk up shyly and hand opponent a heart plushie that says, "You are now infactuated by opponent's Houndour." ?
  
• Bite/Crunch - Play-bite opponent on the head. I dunno..
  
• Feint Attack - Walk up to opponent, point in a random direction ("Ooh, what's that?"), then punch in da face while they're distracted.

I was also thinking of making really little Houndour dolls to "escape from battle" with. I'll attach a tag that'll say silly things like:
"If you've recieved/found this, it means that Houndour:

a. fled from your battle/photoshoot.
b. liked your costume.
c. "randomly" left it in a weird place for you to find. Congratulations!
d. Gave this to you because you took her picture and she appreciates it."

Completely random, but last year when I was going to be Gardevoir, (but then i decided against it...) I was going to make Pokefood. If I do a pokemon cosplay this year, I might actually do it. What do you guys think?

I still don't know whom I might want to cosplay. Most likely Girafarig though.

I agree, I like the doll idea. This year I made Volcano Badges for the fire pokemon at the photoshoot because I was Ninetales and I wanted to hand out something this year ^^
