This will be the third meetup at anderson gardens. It will be held on August 29th at 11 am.

It a very beautiful Japanese Garden.

Street cosplay, and regular outside Neko/goth/punk/lolita/cyber/etc. stuff only. No full blown cosplay, or fur panty nekos!...sadly...

It is $7 to get in, and I do not know how much it is if you are a student, since the site shows $6, then below it $5.

After we will go to a restaurant. That really depends on what people want to eat.

From there we can go to the mall, crazy penguin, volcanoe falls for mini golf, magic waters for a water part, or just all go home!

Here are photos from the last meetup.

As you can see two girls were in Lolita-esque clothes, but we didn't have any cosplayers. I'm not sure what Kasin has said in the past...

I think generally, we would rather not have cosplay as this is a traditional Japanese experience, but "street-cosplay" would be cool. Kasin can correct me on this if the garden doesn't mind (or likes it).

Edit: I take that back, one was in cosplay sort of.

Neko, and street cosplay is okay. even some lolita. However full blown cosplay would be out. Simply because anderson gardens never replied once when I asked.

You mentioned Luigi's and Panino's:

I've been to the Panino's off of East State Street once, it seemed nice enough. Here is their website.

The closest one to the garden looks to be this one:

I'd say that's probably the ideal restaurant as it looks pretty cheap and most people like Italian food. It's probably the easiest restaurant to get to from the garden which would be good if we can manage to get some out-of-towners to attend.


Where is Luigi's? I tried doing a Google maps search, but it landed me in an empty field by Goodwill on East State... that can't be right. haha

I guess the week after or two weeks after that--though I'd prefer Saturday.

EDIT: Well, maybe not. I guess the best Sundays for me would be the 15th and 29th.
