Acen Is Over. What's the next con you're goin to?

After a fun filled 3 days of ACen, its back home to Chi-town. Its not over for me just yet. I plan to go to Youmacon in October. I would like to go to more cons, but I am saving up for my trip to Niagara Falls, and a pair of glasses. So what's next for you guys? Anymore cons after this? Or just R & R with friends?

Youmacon sounds interesting unfortunately I'll be back in school by that time. I'm definitely planning on going to Soycon 3, though I wish I knew of more midwestern cons, especially over the summer.

I'm really sad that it's over already, I planned for the whole weekend; Being there from the very opening to the very end. But a lot of things went wrong :/
I may be going to Ikasucon or IowaCon, but I need finances first >_>

*points to sig* Planning on Wizard World and Chicago TARDIS, those are my regular cons beside Acen, and then trying to scrape together the funds to go to Gallifrey One in February. That will be my first out of town convention.

I'm not sure of my next con ... I know I plan on going to Youmacon since it's in my birthday month and the event includes my favourite holiday -- so, I think it's a must attend ... I'm putting my time off request in tomorrow at work.

I have you all to thank for my new addiction ... I must say. This was my second ACen. Each year - I enjoy it more, everyone is SO GREAT.

I know I want to attend Otakon at some point too.

I am planning on attending Kollisioncon -- whether or not I can is another matter.
I don't care if you ARE the chosen one, this adventure requires PANTS.

Thanks for the link. I'll definitely be checking out KollisionKon and Anime Zap! I really wasn't aware that there'd be so many in IL. Kinda new to this. May check out Ikasucon and Gen Con. IN not that bad a trip...

Never been to Comic Con but I've heard the line-up and guests are supposed to be really good this year. TARDIS seems interesting, too. LOVE Torchwood, but haven't gotten on Dr. Who so much. I'm a sucker for the Ianto-Jack bromance.

This was my first Anime Convention, and I had so much fun. ;_; I can't wait til' next year!

P.S. What made my day Saturday was on Saturday...This was kinda freaky, but me and my sister was sitting by the wall by the consession area, and we're talking about all the cool cosplay we've seen so far. So all the sudden I say, "What would make my day would be someone doing a Jareth cosplay. *sighs wishfully*" All the sudden my sister gasps, and points to the left, and there was a Jareth cosplayer! He was so awesome he was even able to do the crystal ball trick!

For those that don't know who jareth is, he's from the Labyrinth movie. He's the Goblin King, and David Bowie plays him!~

I think I plan on sleeping for a few days, turns out that the floor is not your friend, though getting maybe 2 hours of sleep in 4 days worked out in the end ><
-Wardrobe for Acen 2010 (no sry I didn't cosplay)
-- Bluejeans everyday with addidas sombas
-- blue hoodie or black puma track jacket (yellow/green stripped on arms)
-- red shirt (ski club, flogging molly, and Louisville U shirts)
-- Red Bandana for most of the week on my head or around my neck.
-- Was walking with a cane on day one.
-- (Now there I'll be super easy to find if someone is looking :P)
