Hey all names Justin just got back too the hotel from ACEN........had a blast. Hope too be coming down next year. Any ways would like too check out soap bubble I know it's tonight but for some reason the when and where I can't seem too find. Thanks in advance all and maybe we can hook up some time..... : )

Hey thanx for the reply. Yeah I figured the forums would be kinda dead with the con going and all twas worth a shot tho. Never did find it the map they give you in the program book ain't exactly the best.....lol. I'm back in Michigan now but there is always next year I'll hang here and contribute and learn as much as I can and hopefully by next year I'll have a better idea of whats going on. Any who be seein ya'll.

Indeed, the first con is always going to be a bit of a clusterf---, it takes a few cons (or a buddy who's been to a few) before you can really get your bearings and know what's going on. But I'd say definitely bring up any suggestions you have for improvements in the suggestions forum, the staff is always looking for ways to make things better, but they can't do so unless they know what needs fixing.

jdoc anytime you see really long line near the hyatt around the time one of the dances is to be... just walk to the back of it and chances are you are in the line for said thing. also the map in the program which i hardly used myself was a bit off but stuff changes. come back again its fun stuffs.

Yes! PLEASE let staff know if anything bugged you or if you have an idea! There were some feedback sessions during the con, but I'm sure a civil and well thought out comment/suggestion would be welcome. Not sure if a formal feedback thread is planned or not... Staff people DO read the forums and things DO get consideration.

Thats what we like to hear!!! ^.^

Every year you learn something new and you get a better feel of where everything is so its not just you that it happens to. You are only there for a few days and arent there for a year so some things you dont remember but give it a few more years and you'll be a guide for the newbies!

General rule of thumb if you're looking for Masqurade or Soap Bubble:

about 2 hours or so before it's scheduled to start, go outside of the Hyatt, and follow the very loooooooooooooooooooooong line. When you get to the end, stand there. Have a buddy bring you dinner. ;D

Welcome to the forums and to ACen in general.

If you don't mind my asking, where in Michigan are you from? I have family in West Bloomfield and a second home 20 minutes out of Kalamazoo that we used as a halfway point back when my grandma was still alive (5 hours in a car + crying baby=/= fun family road trip).

Kaay-chan I'm a little more north than Kalamazoo I'm more around the Saginaw area and 5 hours in a car with a crying baby you have more patience than I lol.

tatterpillar no I didn't do a cosplay this year I've never really been into it but my kid sister who went with me this year says she is not giving me a choice for next year so I may or may not put something together haven't decided on any thing particular yet though.

Aizen cool too meet some one else from the mitten maybe if your down at acen next year we can meet up for a day or some thing.

Actually, I was the crying baby. My parents were the ones with the patience, and it didn't last long, hence the second home.
