not that playing one game requires you to commit to the ENTIRE SERIES.
but, if you call yourself a final fantasy fan...you should probably check out MOST of the games
in the series, including the 2-d ones.

I'm prolly going to be flamed hard for this, mainly because I'm judging this by only 5 hours of gameplay, I'm gonna go with the main cast of FF13, BUT minus Sahz, cause he seemed like the only one I could relate to since he was the only one who didn't seem farging insane in one way or another. Lightning being psycho soldier b****, Snow being prettyboy jack***, Hope being a whiny little emo punk, and Vanille...do I even need to explain Vanille? I never saw Fang though during my playtime so who knows about her. I cringed during most of the cutsences I saw, namely any of them just talking/whining/bickering. Sahz was the only one who made sense to me. Down to earth, accepting his fate easier than the others, and come on...dual wielding pistols and a baby chocobo living in his fro? What's not to love about him? Oh, and he's a pilot, which if you couldn't guess I'm kinda partial to

Too bad by the end of the game Sazh is virtually worthless. :/ None of the characters really 'pop' in that game, but they at least evolve and for the most part lose their annoyances.

My vote goes towards Sora. Blasted Kingdom Hearts games...

Seriously, did anybody like her? Most of the people I talk to who love 9 still hated her as a character. She was this annoying blob thing with no personality and one character trait...she ate stuff...Completely 1 dimensional character that was simply a bad joke...

I have to admit...I liked Quina I found her amusing actually (except for the stupid frog minigame :S).

The most annoying character in my book? There are several I can recall, but I personally did not care for Relm Arrowny from Final Fantasy 6. Her "Sketch" ability did not work 9/10 times, but if it did, it usually did crap damage to the enemies. Also, it did not matter if you taught her magic, she still did not stand out as a party member. Umaro was more useful than her (if he has the Frost Ring or Beserker Ring equipped). Hey, it is my opinion after all.

Hey! That was kinda useful! At least it wasn't those two twins from FFIV. Palom & Porom? Yeah, they annoyed me.

But more then that? The Most? I would have to say it's a Tie between Yuffie and Sora.

Why Yuffie? Just cause I thought that she really had no point in FFVII. But that's just me.

Sora? Well, he's just annoying. I don't mind his powers, but... If he just shuts up, he'd be ok. Why could Sora be a quiet protagonist like other Final Fantasy Characters of older days? ><
