Interested In A Photographer/model Meet Up OUTSIDE OF ACEN. :]

So I know that Acen is coming up fast(next week as a matter of fact) and everyoone is working hard on last minute cosplay things, prepping bags and items for the stay at ACen, and such things.
Now, I know there is a number of photoshoots and such things planned for each day of ACen.
Now, I was wondering...
Once ACen is over what photographers and models would be interested in getting together for like group shoots and outtings?
I think it'd be great for anyone in the photo-field to be around and work with other photographers/models to get insight, advice, and tips!!!
If anyone would be interested, lets post here and we can maybe figure something out. :]
I really hope to hear back from others.

My advice?
Just look out for anything meet up threads. Alot of post and pre acen meet ups happen and alot of people cosplay at those.
Also look out for Soycon, you'll be able to see more like that.
I doubt people will want to cosplay to just get photos done and go home pretty much.

That's pretty good advice, actually. I've seen lots of photographers come to the larger meetups just because of the sheer concentration of cosplayers who attend, and some cosplayers come to take advantage of the scenery we visit at the meetups to have nicer photos.
On the other hand though, some cosplayers don't like to wear their more elaborate costumes to anything but a formal photoshoot or a con, because frankly they may be hot/otherwise uncomfortable to walk around in and/or they don't want them to be damaged. Those individuals may likely take him up on the private shoot offer.

Oh yeah. (Heh... sorry, Seph...)
It can also be difficult, especially if you're the busy sort of photographer--it's hard to get respective schedules to line up just right.

I'd consider going to some.
I'm sure motivation to do something like this will be high after the convention is over.

I meant just NORMAL shoots and such. Liek just...gather in regular clothes.......
you dont need an anime forum to take normal images...
If you want to network with those of the same interest... im sure you can find some people here..
if you want to work with new talent, and you want to increase your skills as a photographer, i would recommend Craigslist...
A lot of my favorite fashion models i meet through CL.....
