The number for the IRT Hotline this year is (224) 325-4042. Please note that it has changed from last year.
You can use this to get a quick line to IRT this year in case you need us and can't find an op around, or if you have a medical emergency and need EMRT on the scene. You can use it 24 hours a day, from Opening Ceremonies to Closing Ceremonies (and maybe a bit before Opening Ceremonies on Friday). If you forget it, you can find it in the program book as well.
It might be a good idea to put it in your phone book before you get to con.

Can someone confirm the IRT Hotline Number for 2012? Thanks.
IRT requested several days ago I remove the hotline from my sig since there isn't a 2012 number/that's still pending. No word yet that as to whether we really will have one this year or not though.
(*If there isn't one, I imagine we'll be advocating 911 for cops/security & 311 for non-emergencies?*)

All righty. After confirming some stuff with my department head, here's the scoop on the IRT Hotline this year:
The way we were doing the hotline the last few years just didn't get set up this year, and so we won't have one working quite the same way. I'm sorry that we just didn't get in place in time this year, but I'll make sure that it gets set up early in the year for 2013.
We do have the house phone number for IRT in the Hyatt listed in the program book, however. You can feel free to use that as a hotline. In the convention center, IRT should be pretty easy to find; we've got a couple checkpoints (namely, between Registration and the Artists' Alley and at the base of the stairs near the cafeteria) where there should always be an IRT op if you can't find one of our roaming teams.

Or if you can't find an IRT op anywhere, just look for any staff member with a radio. We'll be happy to call them for you.
The Special Needs & ADA Compliance Department is dedicated to making sure that nobody has to miss anything that ACen has to offer because of a physical challenge or medical condition.
