So I am in my office today and a really good song comes on and my day was super boring!!!!!!!!

I mean really boring! So I did what every office worker is not supposed to do.

I fing danced like it was going on the style!

I mean I was up on my chair jumping off kicking and wailing!

I knocked a stack of papers down and was just out of control and I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then ... my boss walks in and is like. "Uhhhh.... you ok?"

I was like..... ummm...... what the heck do I say. So I just said "I just had to dance Tish."

After a few moments of awkward silence she just walked out laughing and said. "...ok"

So I got to dance in my office and I am not fired! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! People today you should totally dance somewhere you probably shouldn't (ummm don�t go getting yourself arrested).

I think I am going to just start dancing at acen too.... there is something just liberating about dancing. (Maybe I will even do this in cosplay.)
BTW the song was Dance Dance by Fall out boy.

I am not comfortable dancing in public, but I will probably do a happy jig after I punch out for the last time at work before Acen. That's cool that you didn't get into trouble though.

I've danced at work before, lots of fun. Mostly to techno, or I air guitar or air drum to rock and roll songs.

I would be one of the people who would dance to a random boom box playing at Acen, even better if its a song I know.

Not only do I dance, I get my boss to dance with me sometimes! She's such cute little lady, like... the small, fluffy, "traveling Europe" type that wears scarves and little cute lapel pins.

Once the guys from the receiving floor walked into the office to find us both caramelldansen. My poor boss had no idea what she was doing, but she had so much fun

You and your boss are awesome! I almost want to start a official dance at work day or something! I am so gonna be dancing with random peeeps at acen!!! Soooo excited!

We started a mini musical while at work a few weeks ago at my theater. A group of us were cleaning theaters and 2 of my coworkers just started singing random showtunes. It was fun! Dancing was included XD

But I just watched.

I only dance in the concession stand, nice and slippery. I can slip and slide like a pro!

I can't really dance at work, since I'm more out in the open and people pass by often since I sit at the circulation desk at the library.
But we do other things to keep ourselves entertained. Like draw random pictures and tape them up and make a list of random things that one of our
bosses make us do...And neither of which we got in trouble for. Because we do them all in fun and no harm meant at all.

Having fun at work is so awesome! I mean how can you not love that! You should dance on the circulation desk! I bet people would love it!

The new waitress at work caught me bobbing my head and tapping my foot while listening to Megadeth.

I also like to air guitar/drum sometimes. I'm not good at it in any logical sense but screw off I'm in a zone.

i work in a nursing home i dance for no reason sometimes and other times i hear music and i just start dancing its a habit and the patients enjoy it
one of my patients don't evenc all me by my real name anymore she just calls me Dance Machine imagine hearing " hey Dance Machine i need help in the bathroom"

I often will be the only one in the office at my work more often than not these days..
Some times i will fire up the soundtrack to Footloose and Dance around the office to break up the tedium

So, I work at Jewel, and we got the Greenhouse there. And it's my job to lock it up at night, if I happen to be working at night.


But we don't have an actual lock this year. Apparently that was included in the budget cuts. Thing is, I've always thought it might be romantic to play some music in there late at night, and dance with my girlfriend in there.


I dance at work sometimes, but only when bagging. It really confuses the customers. Still, they prefer that to... You know, this is my real name on here, so I won't go any farther. Just note there is a reason I haven't posted in the work stories thread.
