Hey there, I live up in Northwest Ohio! By next year, I hope to be traveling to many more conventions and be far more involved in the con scene!

specifically I am a vendor, more so a unique one. I sell authetnic Japanese kimono...at affordable prices. I also host panels, workshops, and do kimono dressings. My little website, and con schedual for this year can be found at http://www.ohiokimono.com , you can also find the address of my kimono store there.

The most recent anime I have wantched and ejoyed: Ergoproxy, and Gantz.
Age I started watching anime: around 12 or 13, my first anime was Aikra followed by Demon Hunter X. I am now 27.

Well then welcome! Now down to business, will you be attending Acen & if so as a vendor? I have always wanted a kimono & would love to check your prices, because I have never been able to afford one. I have no idea what will fit me, so I would like to see them , not buy them on line. Have to ask, do you cosplay, even if it's just lovely kimonos, that's cool too?

1)I was not at Ohayocon. The kimono vendor who was there is from Maine. I am the only Kimono vendor in Ohio and the tristate region.
2) You can shop year round for kimono at my store. I have an actual kimono store in the Toledo Ohio area.
3) I want to TRY and attend the Anime central con in 2011. It all depends on the costs of travel, my other scheduals and more. This is my first year vendoring, so I am slowly expanding and covering a greater and greater area as the business succeed.

In my store, the kimono cost $40 - $60. The kimono are REAL and IMPORTED from Japan. I do -not- make kimono. In my short time as a vendor, I have already seen many people who make "kimono" and charge $300+ for these kimono, when really they are not kimono, not made using traditional techniques, not even the same pattern as a real kimono, and more. I've had more then one customer come to me upset when they realised they had paid $300 for a fake, that was nothing like the real deal.

I am hoping to make the 2011 con :)

You guys are not too crazy far or anything from chicago, which I love visiting.

It all depends on the budget next year, and the schedual of cons. If all goes well, IM THERE IN 2011!
