The settings, acting, and camera angles make me think so.
But the cgi for the robots is pretty good so...

There are some older *much cheesier* trailers with many of the same actors on youtube, so I think it's the real deal. At least this one looks watchable. :lol:

That's the official site for the film. I personally think the trailer they showed on Screwattack wasn't as good as the one that's on the original site. Either way, this looks good for an independent film developer. As long as it brings back the nostalgia of the games, I'll be happy.

And yeah there was some goofy explanations for things, but sad thing is, if there was a megaman movie made by a big production company, this will be LEAGUES better.

If a big production company were to do one... I don't think it'll stay true to the source material like most video game movie adaptations...

Anyways... I saw the whole thing... not bad for a fan film... better than the stuff you'll see on YouTube fan made films... atleast the director stay true to the source material... I loled at some of the easter eggs like... the Excel Saga manga.. and a clip of the anime BlackJack? (I could be wrong on what anime that was)... But MAN!! I didn't expect to see that many asians in one film.. LOL!

i watched a half an hour of this and rockman didnt even shoot nothin' with his buster canon yet!
they spent way too much time building up this maudlin back-story for a game that's about jumping
around and shooting at things.

EDIT: why does elecman remind me of rufio from 'Hook'? and by that i mean why is he the
most awesome damn thing in the entire movie?!

I watched it. I thought it was very good in terms of being close to the source material. I think it was a very good fan-made film.

that was completely godawful in almost every way. I was thoroughly disappointed in almost every single aspect of the movie. hahaha God that was so bad, but I guess I give them props for trying?
