I actually want Aunt Flo to come soon so that I don't have to deal with her during the con. After the con would be good too. During the con, not so much >< Anyone else agree? And of course, if you prepare then it's not so bad, but what if she unexpectedly came (especially when you're in line to meet a guest)?

That, and skirts....no fun when that inconvenience comes to visit. I get mega self conscious.

I'm hoping my timing is right and I won't have to bother. My second year I was paid a visit while wearing a white costume. Luckily, I planned for such an event and layered so my pants were spared. If I was caught unaware though, I'd freak out. As much as I would hate to, I'd make the trip back to Chicago so I can fix things. I'm paranoid though, so I always come prepared when I'm going somewhere.

I completely agree. I had that problem two years ago and it was NOT pleasant. I still had a good time...but I was in so much pain. ;__; Either before or after acen.

Two years ago....pretty sure it was acen 08, but yeah...I had JUST finished.

So I was still all crampy and emotional...and really guy crazy.

I'd have to say that I barely lucked out last year. Saturday sucked for me cuz I usually get a nauseous feeling either the day before or day of when I get it. As soon as I got home on Sunday, bam! ><

Oh man, that is not a weird wish AT ALL! XD Every year I hope for the same thing because it's just too much to deal with it during a con and with cosplay (I hate getting mine when I'm just busy with lots of classes and work, too...). It's hard to have fun and enjoy yourself like you're supposed to when you have to deal with an unwanted guest. Luckily, my wish got granted last night so I'll be in the clear for ACen. At another con I had the misfortune get it halfway through, but it decided to be super light and I didn't have all the cramps and nausea like usual right away and it didn't go back to normal until I got home.

This is going to sound strange, but good luck! XD

I luckily have never gotten a period during the con.

I have, however gotten it at band camp. I prayed and prayed for months that it wouldn't come during camp, and boom! second day, it came.

Mine just ended, so I don't think I'll get it the day of the con.
(Since it'll only be fifteen days and that will be too quick!)

Glad mine is like clock-work. I just finished with mine, meaning I'll be good to go for ACen. After ACen though, a completely different story. I had it on late Sat/early Sun last year and it was a pain--the pre-visitor aches and pains, and then having to actually deal with it later. Ugh, annoying!

I lucked out! Nature decided to visit me friday morning. So that means I'll have a period free ACen. Especially with the fabric choices for the dress portion of Haydee's outfit, it'll be nice to know I will not have to be worried about a surprise. -dances- Now excuse me, my dancing has caused me to cramp up..time to relax and eat chocolate
