There's a Pasty House Hippo less than 5 miles from me.... so I don't have to wait until acen for pastry goodness. *hides*

Novi, MI is in the list of "Concentrated and historical Japanese populations" and is considered an "unofficial Japantown" which means that we have a lot of Japanese restaurants, markets, etc. I'm right on the border of Farmington & Novi so I'm right by all of it... it makes me happy. ^_^ Within 5 miles of my apartment, I have at least 3 good sushi places (and a few not-so-good), a noodle house, an udon place, two Japanese markets and Pasty House Hippo.

ahhh i love the novi location AND i love one world, i love getting my curry, lucky i work in oak park so its 15 minute drive from work...but a 35 min drive from there to my house T_T

Man, I miss Pastry House Hippo...haven't been there in a few months now. I may have to arrange a trip to Mitsuwa with some friends so I can get me some creme buns. XD

I got to the Japanese store most of the time. My friend and I already bought some Japanese snacks for Acen so we are happy. I like drinking the Thai Ice Tea and going to Gabutto Burger.
