As the title and decription says, I need desperate help in making a plushie.

For ACen, one of my cosplays is going to be of Shiki Misaki from The World Ends With You.
Spoiler
therefore, my most important prop is going to be a plush of Mr. Mew
Spoiler

Whew, okay no more spoilers. xDD

Anyways, I want to know how to make a basic plushie. I want it to look really nice, but I don't want to spend too much money on it either. I'm willing to go super ghetto for this, if you know what I mean. xDD
I am using old t-shirts that I never wear for material and probably gonna stuff it with the leftover cut-up pieces of cloth. (LIKE I SAID...I AM GOING TO BE AS GHETTO AS POSSIBLE WHILE MAKING THIS. XDDD).

So, like...I have no idea where to go from there. I have never made a plushie before, and the only sewing experience I've had is cutting up a super-long skirt for my Haruhi Suzumiya costume and using the leftover cloth to make the school uniform collar and sewing it onto a t-shirt (...by HAND. My parents won't allow me to use the sewing machine, lol.)
I'm guessing that hand-sewing is the only way I'll be able to get along with this...hahah. But just to mention...I am a TERRIBLE seamstress. I gotta fake it when Mr. Mew for my character, though. xDD

Please help me out! Describe things in as much detail as you can. Also, I LOVE PICTURES. I'm a very visual person, and pictures demonstrating how to do things are a GREAT help.

Speaking of pictures, if you don't know who Mr. Mew is, here's a picture to give a better idea of how he looks like: http://theworldendswithyou.neoseeker.com/w.../6/64/MrMew.png

Thanks in advance for your help! :D

Alright, you're lucky that Mr. Mew loks so ghetto in the game, because this should be really easy. First, cut out shapes for the head, arms, legs, and tail. You'll want two shapes for each part, because you'll be sewing them together.

Sew each part together, but leave a little part unsewn, so you can turn it inside out and stuff it. I reccommend leaving the smallest side of each piece unswen.

Turn everything inside out. It looks cleaner now, because you can't see the stiches. Stuff the pieces, and sew them all together.

Decorate the Mew.

You're done!
Acen 2011: I lost my red kodak camera. If you found it, PLEASE contact me. I really miss it.
