I recently went to get a new phone & renewed my contract. I was able to get more minutes & unlimited texting for the same as I had been paying for just talk, so I went with it. I've sent about 30 texts within 3 days :o

I was kinda curious how often other's here on the forums send text messages. Also if anybody wants my number to send messages during ACen drop me a pm.

I'd say I prolly send out between 50-100 texts depending on the week. :/

So far 3,034 msgs for this month I have 15 days left in my billing cycle though

Wow. I'm still not used to texting being included in my plan, so that seem impressive to me.

I'm betting I'm gonna hit that in one day during ACen :lol:

Til 3days ago I had to pay 20 cents everytime I sent a message. Give me some time getting used to it being included in the plan & adjust to using my Motorola Rival.

I text more than I talk on the phone because it is more convenient sometimes when you need to send some info out to someone but you dont know if they are working or not. But I do talk on the phone but I save my minutes. Last month my sister sent 7,534 text messages. Thank god for unlimited. My mom learned about that after the 500 overcharge that my sis had to pay out of her savings account lol

Half the texts I get are updates for the sports teams I follow...People don't text me much and I only really text for quick notes that I need to relay to people...

I know how that is. Phone company said I had unlimited data and texting so I used the net and texted like no tomorrow. Turns out it wasn't unlimited and we had to pay $2000+. Mom was not pleased.

I never would've paid it. If they said I had unlimited & charged me, I'd file a complaint to get the charges canceled.

i probably send around 2k texts a month.... i quickly learned that unlimited was the way to go

I don't text alot anymore. I have unlimited, but I've felt like not really texting much of anyone lately. I only spent like 200 last month.

I prefer calling over texting anyways. it urks me when people want to have a conversation with texts and not on the phone. If you aren't somewhere when you need to be quiet or something, then please call. lol

I do make exceptions to some people tho.

About 50 a month. I prefer to talk unless I just need to send quick info to someone.

Between Lenne and Taiyaki, I send/receive a ton of texts a month XD Not nearly many as Lenne herself though...
