okay, i wrote this story way back in 2003 and sent in the ORIGINAL COPY to a comic contest.
i just stumbled across this amateurish comic i did and read it for nostalgia's sake! thing is, i dunno maybe
it's an okay but cliche story, or maybe it's because i wrote it but...i KINDA ENJOYED IT! bigger problem:
i don't know why but the last two pages are missing!!! I can not remember how kuro defeats
kunai in a comic I WROTE!!ajahdajfgafg!

in case you're wondering, i do remember that the Kuro
wins and leaves his village with the shogun, but he returns to find out chou-chou
has died. she passes on because of this disease ravaging the world that's carried on the
wings of butterflies, but(i think) it's revealed that in the end, it was chou-chou's family members
that carried the disease and their death was for the best--why the doctor has her quarantined.
kuro also finds out that she died almost immediately after he left the hospital the day before and
maybe..the butterfly that helped him to achieve his goal and leave the village was the soul of his
childhood friend chou-chou.
