This year I will be attending my first ACen and am quite excited about it. I've heard many great things about this convention and will be the farthest East I will have gone for a convention. But, do not be alarmed, for this will not be my first convention. I've been attending conventions since 2002 and know my etiquette for conventions.
I hope to meet some of you at ACen and sincerely hope that I enjoy myself.

And you don't want an octopus squatting on your brain, do you, son?"

I attend Sakura-Con (Seattle,WA), Kumori-Con (Portland,OR), Aki-Con (Bellevue,WA), and AnimeEvolution (VancouverBC, Canada) on and off.
I'm coming with two friends, one is from Chicago, but moved out to Seattle around ten years ago.

It does! It hasn't rained for several days. And in the summer, we don't get a lot of rain. Forks and other places actually get a lot more rain than Seattle!

Welcome!
Thank you. It's a gorgeous place to live. I've lived here and California, and while I do love California (Southern!), I never get tired of Washington, especially this particular area.
If anyone can visit, I suggest doing so in April. All the trees are in bloom, the flowers are out in Pike Place and the weather's usually cooperative. One of my favorite months in Seattle.

\o/ Awesome and yes, we have no accents. I live about ten minutes from that area of Tacoma.
Sakura-Con is going into it's thirteenth year too. Quite fitting if I do say so myself.
