I want to view the newest posts first in a thread. It seems as though the default is from the beginning of the thread first.

I've looked through my options, and perhaps I'm looking right past something obvious - but I want the newest posts in a thread first.

If I want to look further, I could do that, but for me, I'd much prefer newest first.

is this not an option?

If there are new posts in a thread, you will see a little orange square to the left of the thread name, click on that and it will take you directly to the first unread post. Clicking on the thread name will just open it from the top.

Thanks, I appreciate it -- for the newer threads that'll help -- so I guess I'm stuck opening - hitting the number of the last page in the thread and reading it that way ... ?

I know on some forums you have that option to set how you want the feed to be when you open the thread.
