It's a real shame, because everyone I know loves Thin Mints...and yet I don't like mint. I don't mind it in gum, but I honest to god don't like eating mint. (Then again, I don't like coffee either...maybe they have too strong a taste?) Lemon cremes, however, ohhhhh I love those. I've been known to devour whole boxes of them without even realizing it.

Its something about the wafer flavor that is sooo good in the Thin Mints. I like them ICE COLD with some vanilla ice cream. I could eat a whole box in a day. But alas..im working out so I have to limit myself. Bigh...

Mints are the best, but GS cookies in general are too expensive so I buy Grashoppers instead. Plus the GS only get a few cents per box so I'd rather just give them $5 (or whatever) in cash so they can keep all of it.

That is true. I paid 12 for 3 boxes and you only get about 15 cookies per box so you are basically paying 30 cents a cookie and those are tiny cookies but by god they are so delicious....

Do Girl Scouts still sell cookies around the neighborhoods these days? I've never seen them selling around here, but if they still set up outside supermarkets somewhere in the suburbs, someone let me know where. I love GS cookies, but haven't had had any since my friend's daughters outgrew the scouts. Now they have babies of their own.

They use to do the door-to-door thing but I think they may have stopped due to saftey issues. However where I work at they GS come to my job and they sell their cookies. I know they're gonna do it again soon. Ill have to check with concierge to see what date it is.

Its more about networking now. They let their parents bring the sheets to work and so forth. I havent had anyone at my doorstep for a loong time. Maybe its the GO AWAY sign... -shrugs- lol

Seriously Im like a hobo on a ham sandwich when it comes to Thin Mints they're sooooooooo tastee!! And I was so disappointed at work yesterday to find out that someone brought in a sheet one day and was selling them and I wasnt there for it and I MISSED ORDERING COOKIES!!! It was a sad day indeed.
