So I guess we just had an 4.3 Earthquake hit near Dekalb this Morning at 4:00 A.M. Have to admit this was interesting.

Thoughts that are currently going through my mind:

"Well, I have to admit this is one way to be woke up on your birthday."
"Raise Up Megalon!"
" Should I make an El Hazard reference."
"Namazu?"

I don't walk to the beat of a different drummer, I have a whole band including bagpipes.

OMG I FELT IT THIS MORNING! I was asleep and then all of a sudden I felt the house shake a bit! Man. That really startled me!

I got a train like 100 feet away from my house that when it runs, my whole house shakes =p I can now sleep through almost anything xD

I have to not believe some of the reports about how much shaking and stuff there was associated with the earthquake that come into the news this morning.

I live less than like..15 miles away from the epicenter and there wasn't that much going on.....a small boom and some vibrations, but some people were reporting beds relocating, beds and shelves falling over and china shattering in china cabients.

Silly people being dramatic.

Woke me up at 4, couldn't fall back to sleep, so I shoveled the snow and cleaned off my car for work early. My stepmom was quite alarmed for some reason, she's like..double my age and she's only been through like..2 earthquakes while I've been through 6 or 7 lol wat.

Nothing new ;p

I felt it all the way down by Ottawa. I felt my bed shake, and I thought it was a dream and looked at the clock it was 3:58 on my clock. I could not go right back to sleep and was up for awhile after.

I figured it was an earthquake that woke me up...Felt the shaking and everything but once it was over I shrugged and went back to sleep.

I was born in California so earth quakes don't bother me much ^_^

I didn't feel it; I was sound asleep. XD My dad said he felt it though, so I don't know.

I remember hearing about this on the radio sometime between 5-6am. The DJs for the morning show were in contact with someone who was near the epicenter and she told them that she slept right through it (much to their chagrin, cause I think they really wanted to know how it felt to be near the center of an earthquake XD).

The is the first time I've ever felt a quake in Illinois. I slept through the last 2. Either it didnt last long or I woke up at the end of it. I heard a roar outside my house and my room was shakin'. My dog sleeps outside my room so I went out to check on him and he looked sleepy. So I was convinced it was all a dream.

Then I checked facebook this morning...
