My guess is because shes sort of infamous for wearing very outlandish costumes. *shrugs* Some are kind of cool though.

I did a lady gaga at Youmacon, it was fun! maybe i'll do something again. I love her, she's so crazy and just has that fashion thats years beyond most people! lol!

I will be wearing my Just Dance Lady Gaga outfit with the disco ball bra (also was at Youmacon with this one)
And then I will be working on her dress suit/tutu outfit from her Elle Magazine photoshoot.
Im hoping we can get a rather big group for this, it would be loads of fun.

This is true but its supposed to be originally a love for anime but its branched out quite a bit even if it is an 'anime' con. Sure theres going to be people annoyed that there are some non anime cosplayers but its not really their room to judge. All in all theres going to be more anime focus but with other sub cultural influences with the cosplayers such as gamers and fashionistas like Lady Gaga.
Its all good.
