I did something like that for my boyfriend at YoumaCon. He couldn't make it so he gave me a Venture Bros. DVD for Michael Sinterniklaas to sign. When I went to the karaoke room, I saw him. He and I were talking for a while. We left the room and talked in the halls. I then called my boyfriend and gave the phone to Michael so he could talk to him. He talked to my boyfriend in Dean Venture's voice and told him that I was pretty and nice and wondered why he wasn't here and other stuff like that.

My boyfriend didn't believe it was him and thought it was someone who was talking in Dean's voice, but I assured him that it was really him. He was really happy. =3

I missed him too, we were going to but drama issues prevented this. I hope he comes back this year, I'd love to inform him I know where his hat went when he was in Oak Park for the harry potter event. *Ponders if she should buy a look alike to present to him*

Ah. Totally awesome my post from a year ago is still going XDD

I'd love to see Doug again this year! Only I want him to have a panel! I've noticed in a few of his Nostalgia Critic reviews he includes the audience from his panels. How fun would that be?!

I'd be shocked though if he didn't go this year. At the very least give him another booth in the dealers hall!

Actually. Last year, I think it was, Doug was actually AT Acen, as a congoer. So maybe we could convince him to come as a guest

I know the D2 Brigade and Nash were here this year. I saw JO and nash walking around and Professor Otaku was talking to them in the Trade show area. I'd really like Doug and this group to come next year as pannelists. It would be interesting.

Yes. Just yes to everything. This topic needed a bump. Oh. Also if getting the the nostalgia critic -- definitely get Kyle Hebert. Those two... oh my god. I almost stopped breathing I was laughing so hard. I had NO idea he was at 2011 ACEN. Have him come to 2012 as well!

Ha ha ha, Doug's good people. I know he's extremely swamped in April (the guy writes, directs, and edits all his own videos. Plus, the convention appearances AND he's got that wedding coming up), but I'll give him a ring and see what his plans are. Always a hoot to have him at a show, and he's been known to pop into guest panels and tell a few funny stories from time to time.
