Hey guys and gals~ Ive been speakign to some people over on DenOfAngels [ball jointed doll forum] and we'd like to meet up but theres nothing about it on this forum~ Sooo I'll start one ^^.

Me and some people thoughtit would be great to meet up at the sun room [room with tables and chairs, theres a glass ceiling and stairs with a brick wall]. Its a great room with enough space for us and our dolls. Any1 in?

I'll be bringing my SD, Asagi, my tiny Emiko annnd if I get Shinji an SD body before ACEN, I'll bring him too.

I only knew about 1 and it was kidna boring ^^; so I left the room early. It was a woman in the front and a bunch of people in chairs with their doll and they just spoke about the differences between dolls. Atleast thats all that was talked about while I stayed =/. Id like to take photos

I didn't go to any of them lol I just remember her saying that there were about four panels for BJD there. I stood outside of one waiting for her to come out. I did go to one back in '08 when the panel was cancelled. They looked pretty cool but not something I'd take an interest in. Someone had a Chi and apparently they're limited with 150? made. It looked cool.

I saw this when you posted on DOA and I'd love to come. Depending on what day we do it, my dolls might be cosplaying w/ me and my friends. If we do decide on the sun room, is it on the convention center or the Hyatt? I stay at the Embassy so I'm not 100% up on what's where in the other hotels.

I dont know which is which.. but its NOT in the building that has the dealers room.

The sun room is in the Hyatt. There ought to be a map either on the Hyatt's actual site or around here someplace that has it labeled.

I got this schedule from DoA:

Thursday evening ~ Hyatt Lobby couches by the elevators 8 PM
Friday ~ Hyatt sunroom 2 PM (subject to doll panel time slot)
Saturday ~ Hyatt sunroom 2 PM and 9 PM (subject to doll panel time slots)
Sunday ~ Hyatt "Band" Area 10 AM (for those checking out on sunday)

I'll be there Thursday to Monday with my four dolly girls. This'll be my second year bringing BJDs to Acen and I look forward to seeing everyone's dolls!

They're all MSD-sized.

Barring any issues in relation to meetups falling at same time as a photoshoot I plan to attend...I'll likely be at as many of these as I can with my LUTS Abadon, Icarus

I'm the one that posted the meet up times on DoA and I will say this here as I already said on DoA. The meet ups are subject to the doll panel times. Only when the schedule is released will the meet up times become final. No changes will get made after a week before Acen to make sure everyone knows the times. I will have a copy of the times with me when I go to the meet ups so you know for sure they are and can write them on your schedule. Best bet to know the most up to date updates is to subscribe to the thread on DoA.

As of right now I'm bringing 5 of my dolls with me. I'm iffy on the pukis just cause I worry over losing a hand or foot. The five I plan on having are my DZ Shoyo and Megi-2 (MSD) and all three of my Volks, Sweet Dream Myu (MSD), YoSD Nono and Hinaichigo. I know my Myu and I will have matching dresses for this Acen, the Dollheart Black Classic.

And if there is something you want to see in doll panels the best thing is to say something so there is a better idea for the following year. I'm not doing panels this year and I know one of the other ladies missed the submission deadline so she's not coming either and she had the other BJD introduction panel. I would gladly do a panel for Acen 2011 if I had ideas of what people wanted to see. I know the maintence one we did was a big help, but say what you would like to see and then it can get planned. Too late for Acen 2010 but not so with 2011.

Definatly come to the meet ups then! I know I have add dolls to my list after swearing them off from the company default pictures. There is always a nice variety.

Will Pullips be accepted that these meets? I know some don't consider them ball jointed.
