Hello everyone. I was wondering who was going to do the Loli party this year. I do have a suite, but i dont know if I should be the host. Ideas?

I have no clue. There are a few in the hotel and I think there is a Starbucks near by.

Haha, I hope that you don't mind having a sweet lolita arriving at the party; I just got so tired of wearing black most of 09. I suggest posting this idea on chigothloli and acen_gosirori just to get some attention and feedback on this topic; not every lolita on egl checks on anime central's forums.

Personally, I don't really care if we end up going to starbucks for coffee and chillers rather than a fancy tea house, just as long as I'm hanging out with a bunch of lolitas outside the con, it's all good.

i wanna do steampunk so i dont know if ill be still doing Lolita but we'll see i might do both no not at the same time ALTHOUGH would be interesting lol so hopefully the schedule for panels and such go up soon so we dont plan this around stuff i want to check out :-p

It's fine. There's a style called steampunk lolita, if you haven't known already. Either or, lots of lolitas are fans of steam punk, so there's no need to apologize.

God knows what Acen is trying to schedule (or how and when), but hopefully the meet up isn't during the major events. I'm still up for a gathering at the nearby Starbucks for coffee and chillers.

From what tradition rules, there may be the usual swap meet.

How about Friday at 1pm at the water fountain? We can bring store bought cookies and cupcakes and have a mini picnick or something

1 pm on Friday is good timing. I don't plan on being in lolita the whole day. We should probably post this on the livejournal communities like chigothloli or acen_gosurori, just to get the word out (plus, someone there asked me about this sort of meet up).

Good idea.. I dont plan on it either [I wear lolita publicly often so its not a big ordeal to me.. but I only wear cosplay maybe once or twice a year so~ yah XD]

I'm definitely down for a meetup! I'm staying IN the Hyatt but my room's not big at all. However, I'm hoping it won't cause an issue with the Khaotic Kouture fashion show I'm in....
