So I just read a journal of one of my favorite cosplayers on deviantART and found a link to a site which sells beautiful contacts at good prices. The group of cosplayers does an amazing job (as you will see) and has never bumped any particular product they use when it comes to cosplay, so this is a great find. You will see pics of the contact lenses up close (taken by the group) and in action. (While you're there, check out their other cosplay photos using the links on the right. They are fantastic!!!)

I'm getting ready to browse the site myself. I ordered my Hinata (white out) contacts online from a different site and everything worked out fine for me. I had to fax a copy of my prescription before they'd let me order. I understand there is some risk when buying contacts online, so be forewarned.

I joined that site and I'm waiting to get on the site since you have to add that person as a friend dealy. I'm interested to see what they have.

Actually cosplaylab is much more expensive than this place. If you convert the price to USD you get roughly like 30 bucks than the 70 you'd spend here.

I hear circle lenses work just fine, too. They give you those nice big eyes.

I plan on ordering a pair of circle lenses soon so I can get used to them by the time ACen comes. I'm buying mine from dbeautyshop.com, and since I'm cosplaying as someone with blue eyes, I'm getting the nudy blue color .

As with all contact ordering, please make sure you have a legal prescription from an optometrist or opthamologist before ordering. You'll get a better fit and a lot less of this sort of thing. Warning: Medical stuff.

There are some places that sell just theatre contacts that are for cosmetic only, no sort of eye sight enhancing on them, I'm trying to remember the place that sold me my red ones for my KOS-MOS outfit, it'll come back to me, but the price was pretty good.

I do have a legal perscription . I've been wearing normal contacts since I was in 8th grade, so yeah, I'm just getting more lenses for cosplay.

You'd be surprised how stupid some people get when it comes to contacts. Then they can't figure out why they or their parents are shelling out cash for pink eye medication or worse.

this is the site I've trusted for my contacts and I have no complaints.... one of my contacts actually fell out of it's case in my suitcase and dried up, it stayed in the bottom of my suitcase for about a month until I found it... I put it back in it's solution and the next day it was perfectly fine

That's really cool. I know a couple of cosplayers who've bought their contacts from there.
