THE TOURNAMENT LIST
Here at ACen's Video Gaming, we have decided to try a new direction for Anime Central: The Thirteenth! This year, we have cut back on the number of official tournaments. This was done for many reasons, all revolving around your, the attendee's, enjoyment and best interests. Games that were lucky enough to make the cut, will have many combantants, and the competition is sure to be fierce. In addition to the new, more compact, tournament lineup, ACen's VG is bringing in something special for 2010. That is, a dedicated tournament room. All (console-based) official tournaments will take place in the new VG Tourny Room.

All times listed are tentative and subject to change.

FRIDAY Tournaments:
<Console tournys>
- Melty Blood: Actress Again {PS2} == 4pm
- Smash Star (SSBB) {Wii} == 6pm

SATURDAY Tournaments:
<Console tournys>
- Pokemon {?} == 11am
- Tekken 6 {360} == 1pm
- (Super) Street Fighter 4 {360} == 3:30pm
- Battle of the Rock Bands: The Second Slaying (RB2) {PS3} == 6pm
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 {PS3} == 10pm

<Arcade tournys>
- In The Groove 2 == 1pm
- Pump It Up == 2pm
- Dance Dance Revolution == 3pm

Note: All tournaments listed fall under the new tournament sign-up system. Take a moment to read up on what is different and how it affects you.

Note From Staff:
The tournament list has been put together based on prior turnout and current popularity. If you're favorite game isn't on the list, you have our appologies. We would like to invite you to organize and host your own unofficial tournament for any game you like. In an ideal world, we would hold every tournament on Saturday during primetime so that every attendee could make it. We have limited time, manpower, and resources; all of which force us to schedual the way we do. We appologise for any inconviences.

Hello!

It's me again, with the rules for the fighting game tournaments taking place this year at Anime Central. There have been some changes in how things are being done this time around, but if anything, the changes make it much easier to attain our goal of running efficient and fun tournaments. To ensure that we finish these tournaments in a timely manner, the 30 second rule will be strictly enforced with no exceptions. Also, once a tournament is started, the brackets are absolutely closed. There will be *no* late entries.

Without further ado, the rules! Keep in mind these rules are subject to change. Be sure to keep an eye on this thread for any changes.

General Rules
1.) First and foremost, be respectful of the Staff running the tournaments, those competing, and the equipment. This is rule number one for a reason. The goal is for everyone to have a good time while enjoying some competition, and anyone engaging in what could be considered disrespectful activities will not be tolerated.

2.) When a match is completed, the winner must report the match results to the person in charge of brackets.

3.) Please keep the noise at a respectable level during tournament matches. We understand that amazing matches deserve a big reaction, but refrain from getting ridiculous. Applause is always acceptable, screaming at the top of your lungs is not. Also, do not disturb the competitors while they are playing. No heckling/name-calling/etc. will be tolerated.

4.) If you are a spectator or you are in a tournament but not playing, hang out in the spectator's area.

5.) You have 30 seconds from the time your name is called to get to your assigned station for your match. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of your match. This is plenty of time, unless you somehow find yourself ensnared in a bear trap on Venus.

6.) Last but not least, have fun! If you're happy, we're happy. Let's work together and make 2010 an awesome year!
