I know a couple years ago there was a toku-panel at ACen, and I was wondering if we'd be seeing the same at this year's con.

If not, I could try to submit one if there's still time to submit. I've already submitted for two other panels but I'd love to do one about toku-satsu, whether it's Sentai(Power Rangers), Kamen Rider, or both(which would of course need more then one hour, as I found out when trying to fit discussion from Zyuranger to Shinkenger at Nov. 09's Daisho-con and they gave my friend and I only an hour! *_*) Would anyone else like to join us if there is interest and I submit it?

I don't want to detract from any other toku-related events like the long-awaited Toku-Hell (I so wanted to see it at Youma!!) or even if we get a Japanese toku-related actor hopefully(in that case, would it be all right to hold one, or would the Japanese agents/handlers throw a fit over copyright or whatever?)

A lot of questions, sorry, but I want to know before I submit one and then I get all sorts of issues over it. ^__^;;;

Aw man. I was looking forward to the next Toku-Hell. I sent some links to some of my own videos and couldn't wait to see if they would play them. But unfortunately, I won't make it to this Acen.

I've submitted for a toku-satsu panel for this year, titled 'Journey through the Decade', and as related to the Gackt song for KR Decade, will be focused on the Heisei Kamen Riders and Super Sentai(Power Rangers). So we hope, once approved, that we can present from 2000 to the present, so in terms of Kamen Riders from KR Kuuga to the present W/Double, and Sentai from TimeRanger to the present Goseiger(which will be airing at the time of the con).

Of course, it would be really cool to see Toku-Hell at ACen this year, and possibly have an actor or someone affiliated with the genre attending this year's con as a guest.

I went to a sentai/Toku panel at Ohayocon and I had a blast there. We talk about sentai and Kamen rider. The Panel people had their sentai and Kamen riders, belts, morphers, and figures. I really hope this panel gets approve ^^

Thank you very much for the well wishes. I have already been working on the preparations for this panel, so I'm hoping we get approved. As I mentioned before, we plan to cover the series from 2000 to the present. Have you seen much of either Japanese version yet? (please let others know to post on here too, onegai shimasu?)

I also can't wait for the photo-shoot as well, even if it is only marked 'Super Sentai' Kamen Rider is also part of the same genre too, ne?

We don't have the goodies, but we can definitely do the talking about the various shows! It's been a suprisingly fun 2 or 3 years watching all these things and learning about the genre in general. A decade is daunting, but i'm the crazy type that relishes challenges like that.

Well I finish watching all of Kiva and Decade. I'm now watching Kuuga, Faiz, RX, and kabuto.

Also I was surprise they approve of the Super Sentai shoot ^^ And Don't worry Kamen Rider series are welcome too. I send a message asking is this the final look for the sheet for gatherings. If not I ask if they can change the name from super sentai to Sentai/Toku. I'm so excited for acen.

I look forward to finishing what I've already mostly done in preparation, and hope everyone enjoys our panel. I only hope they don't put it at the same time as the Sentai/Toku photo shoot :/ Any other time I don't really mind

Appears not to be, according to the schedule it'll be Friday night 10:30 til midnight(well, 11:50pm). Hopefully not too late for people to attend, ne?

I wanted to thank the small but very devoted fans of toku-satsu who came to the toku-panel the three of us gave, as well as the Saturday afternoon photo-shoot. I had fun being Phillip from Kamen Rider W this year, and it was great to see everyone who dressed up, sang along with the Kamen Rider theme songs we played(even the staff assigned to our panel! ), or otherwise supported our panel and the fandom.

We're definitely planning on giving it next year with 2 hrs hopefully instead of just an hr and a half. Any suggestions, what do people want to see, things to change, etc?

I went into this panel not knowing or having seen a single sentai/tokusatsu series. I have been a little interested before, but watching this panel gave me a few shows that I REALLY want to check out now. Thank you for having it, and if there's one next year I wanna attend too.

At the moment, I'm picking shows based on actors I love. Sato Takeru was great in Bloody Monday. So I started Kamen Rider Den-O last week, and I'm almost finished. I'm extremely happy I picked this first. It already has a special place in my heart. ♥

I'm wanting to watch Kamen Rider Kabuto next, b/c I never imagined Mizushima Hiro was a Kamen Rider. xD I can't start MagiRanger yet, the video and audio are out of sync and I can't stand that.
