I want to try cosplay for the first time this year but I'm not sure what would look good on me. I'm thinking Allen Walker(DGrayman) at the moment but I'm open to any other suggestions. I'm also looking for someone that does comissions, I'd probably kill myself with a sewing needle. Check out my profile to see what I look like.

Any ideas?

Cosplaying is a way to express your fandom! At least it is to me. Instead of just choosing a character based on what you look like, you should just choose your most favorite character from your favorite anime or video game and go from there. Cosplaying is a declaration of what you love, what you support, what you respect, and in turn; who you are. Pick a character that you love, a character that you know you'll have fun with. That's how I pick mine.

I agree, I just don't want to look horrible in it. I love lots of characters but only a few will work at my size. I'd love to play Train Heartnet for example but there's no way I could pull off his jacket, it just wouldn't look right.

I'd love to play Train but I don't think I could pull it off. Maybe Sven but he's a little too easy.

Sven might be easy but he sure is sexy.

You know you should what ever you like or should I say a character you like. Especially if you are going to pay for the costume.

I agree with everyone who says to go as whoever you want to go as. It doesn't really matter if you look like the character or not. Just have fun!

Good luck!
