Regardless, its an enjoyable series all around. Still it seemed like the first one had this special flare to it...It felt fresh still. I just couldn't get as excited for the second and third game.

That game is so huge, I just assume I'll never actually finish it, and that doesn't really upset me. It's just so fun. Even if they had to cut out some of the voice acting, I'm glad they ported it to the DS, since it's a great time killer.

i totally agree with you dr. cox i still play the first one even to this day...(on psp) and i take it with me everywhere...where as number two...they just couldnt get the same umph into it like number one...however i'll give them credit in number two they added the dark world and the treasures...it made my 100+hrs in the item world even longer lol...but there's nothing like the original...now in number three...i've only gotten to play it to the second chapter but from what i could play it seems like they brought that umph back...at least i felt it...to the point where i'll kill to play it again

I really think that umph came from playing as evil characters. I mean 2 was kinda the only one to shy away from it. Its fun to be bad. Plus the humor seems to work a lot better when you are dealing with these evil things.
Enjoy 3...i definitely felt like it started strong and has a couple pretty awesome characters to recruit overall. I felt like it kinda slows down a bit about halfway through, but overall its a solid game. I mean ultimately it is more of the same. If you liked the first 2, you'll like 3.
