Oh wait, I figured it out. The anime central page isn't a page at all, it's a group. There's a pretty big difference. Pages represent official outlets for businesses and organizations. Groups represent fandom. There are big disclaimers when you make a facebook page, ensuring that you have the rights to do so. I feel if Acen had an official page, it would be of more benefit. They send twitter style updates to the news feed of those who are a fan of a page. It's better for sending information to people rather than a group.
Also, those who make pages out of fandom are technically violating the TOS of Facebook. Then again, who doesn't violate Facebook's TOS lol

I thought the on in the TC's post was ran by acen staff and not fans. Oh well.

Cosplays did not happen in 2009, thanks to finals. Things are not looking good in 2010 either :/ I may not make it til Acen until Sat. evening.
