Well, I'm pretty sure for one of my cosplay, I'm going to be Hunny, from OHSHC.
BUT THE PROBLEM!
I also want to cosplay Link in his Twilight Princess outfit, and I'm pretty sure that's out of my skill range.
So, I found the website limebarb.com, and sent them an e-mail on about how much it would cost...
With everything for costume: $2040
WITHOUT Sword/Sheild/Sheath/Gauntlets/Wig: $535

So, is anyone up for a commision OR do you guys know a cheaper commissioning website? I'll appriciate any suggestions! ^^

NOTE: I'm a 13-year old girl who's going to be working off of birthday money and possibly getting a job at Rees funeral home, which I'll only be able to work about 2 hours a day. (I have Jazz Band/Builders Club/etc after school crap. XD)

ANOTHER NOTE...XD: I'd probably be able to make the Sword and Sheild myself, so don't worry about that...:3

Go After School Crap! 8D
I'm 14 and have the sam problem.
Well, you could try Taeliac Studios
I've heard good things about her, and not sure about her prices.
It's most likely better than limbarb.com though.

Woot! I was in Jazz band too ^.^ (trumpet ♥♥♥)

As far as commissions go, Links outfit is pretty basic and I'm sure if you put your mind to it you could put it together. Heck making it yourself would save you soooo much money and give you braging rights. If you dont have a sowing machine ask around your family, theres got to be someone that has knowledge of how to use it and have one. But this is just if it happens to work out this way. Don't be too hard on yourself and say you can't make something. Always try if you know you can devote the time to it because its better in the end.

With a good commish site, I've heard good and bad things about limebarb. Shes pretty expensive, but she uses quality fabric or so I hear. There was an actually good cosplay seller on ebay but I forgot who they were. Theres also a site on cosplay.com => http://www.cosplay.c...ad.php?t=105758 that has a list of commissioners.

Well I hope that helps and good luck!

I would definitely go to cosplay.com before using limebarb. Although she does use quality fabrics, she only does it if you pay the expensive-type price. However, if you're on a budget, be prepared for her to use lower-quality material. For instance, when she gets great material, her Organization XIII coats look awesome. But if you can't afford that, and can only afford something less than that, you'll get a coat that may not look like the O-13 coat - or at least, will look like a mock-up. (I call it the "Deluxe vs. Normal Quality Products")

If anything tho, you can certainly make Link's outfit yourself if need be. Plus, it will be excellent practice for later cosplay making!

Hey, thanks for all the replies! :D
With the (slight) encouragement found on this form, I may just stick to making the costume myself! ^^
It'll probebly take me a while, just because I'm a procrastinator. XD
So, thanks for all the help! ^_^

Oh, and BTW Knives, I may still look into getting a sheild or sheath from you. XD
