So my friends and I were thinking about going as the Blue Team from Team Fortress 2, but nothing's official.

But, just so that we know moving forward, what is the general rules regarding weapons [obviously other than no sharp weapons, of course]?

Weapons can't be longer than 4 ft, no real gun look-a-likes, no paintball guns (Airsoft and whatnot.) That's all I can really tell you.

Thank you Ska_Toranpetta! Those are the rules for 2009, but will probably remain the same or close to the same. Keep an eye out for posts closer to the con, however, because we'll make sure to let you know if the policies change. Also, they'll have the Weapons Rules posted on the acen.org website as well (in Convention Policies, located under "About the Show"), though they're not up at this time.

So.... use the 2009 rules as a guide but please make sure to check back for updates in case something changes.
