It first really stuck me with Fate/ Unlimited Codes (yet to be unreleased?) and Dissidia. For and more items are being able to be downloaded into memory cards as in whole games or to make a game run faster without long loading times.
Personally, I like to hold something physical in my hands. Fate/UC is supposedly (should have already but meh...) only coming to the states by means of download. Personally, I want the actual thing. You get a booklet with the actual game, and there isn't a chance that it might get erased on accident. For things like DIssidia's data transfer, I'm all for. Taking up some extra space on a card to run faster would be a plus.

Personally I like both, for portability and convenience. Along with a collectors soul to have that physical copy as proof.

Type-Moon stuff doesn't have enough of a following in the States for spin-off fighting games to be deemed profitable in retail form. Nothing's stopping you from importing it for $50, though. I know how it is to have that "collector's soul", and wanting to own the actual item...

Personally, I would love to import it, but then I get to another gripe of mine. When the game does come out over here, it will be incompatible with an American version(from my past experiences), so if I want to play against someone, I have to go and pick up another version and work to beat that one 100% as well. :/

But... it's not GOING to come out here. The fact that none of the Melty Blood games have been released here is a pretty good sign of that.

No pre-order info about it on Gamestop.com, and the only US release date according to Gamefaqs is 9/3/09 as a downloadable title. Much like several obscure XBLA titles (like Triggerheart Exelica), it's technically a miracle they're even localizing it as a d/l game.
Also, Sony says a lot of things.
Like giant enemy crabs being based on Japanese history and such.

Like giant enemy crabs being based on Japanese history and such.It's not physical. It's only available at the Playstation store for download. Several places actually did reviews of it. I have poor internet connection at the dorm to get on with my PSP so i have yet to verify it.
*Ah, so its yet to come out. Thanks for the date. Still I wonder if I should get the physical import to save memory/hold something.
