Yes, I know it's not possible for some, but not only does the waiting list move before the con (someone has to cancel or never pays etc) and you get a spot, but there are no shows at con. Voltaire would have to comment on how he might decide to work that ( we do have to account for traffic / flight delays ).

So keep up hope!

We had a LOT of submissions in a short amount of time, and we are still going through everything. Look for official feedback over the next week as the DH (Voltaire) gets through everything and confirms all is in place for each app. That's all the info I can give right now. =)

We did receive a lot of submissions in a very short time period.

The system was set so that once a certain amount of tables were requested, and the alley was filled, it would then display if you were on the waiting list (on that receipt page you had the option of printing).

I am working on weeding out double posts, banned people, etc...
So please give me at least 72hrs to get all the chickens in a row.

Always subject to change, and we partially keep hours with the Dealer's as it is all one space:

I "think" it was roughly...
9-7 friday
9-7 saturday
10-4 sunday

but I don't have my program guide to double check but something like that can be expected

The most recent hours that I've heard about are:

Thursday - Move-in - 12PM to 6PM
Friday - Move-in - 8AM to 9AM
Business hours - 10AM to 7PM
Saturday - Move-in - 8AM to 9AM
Business Hours - 10AM to 7PM
Sunday - Move-in - 8AM to 9AM
Business Hours - 10AM to 4PM
Move-out - 4:30PM to 10:30 PM

So pretty much what frzndagiri said plus when you'll be able to get there in the morning.

Of course there is the possibility of change before the con but I believe that the hours were the same or similar to this last year.

I was thinking it was going to be 72 after you registered for AA... I hope the "7 days" rule still stands... wouldn't be very good for me if it was 7 days from my post, and then 72 hours from registering (3 days), and then 72 more hours from when vol posted (3 more days), hehe.... I am just holding my breath until I hear soemthing, but at least I'm happy I didn't get a waiting list message .... *suddenly turns blue and passes out*

I would like to know as well. I'm a panelist and I don't pay for my badge, so what then? I'm not going to pay another extra amount just so that I can be in the alley...thats just not fair.

I will hold your spot until you receive word from Frank (The Panels DH) on your status.
If you DO get a Panel, you will not have to pay for a badge.
If you DON'T get a Panel, you will have 24hrs from when you are notified, to pay for a badge.
I will be communicating with Frank and his staff to identify what is going on.

Confirmations.
I already have confirmations created, and the first wave sent out. Unfortunately I feel asleep at my computer last night, so they all didn't get done.

More will go out today.

If we get in to Artist Alley (fingers crossed), then how should we proceed? I've emailed someone from registration to ask them to check the system for our names, but I haven't heard back from anyone...

If you PM me your names, I can look you up to see if you're in the reg system. Unfortunately, I can't do anything more than that because I'm not Reg staff. If you're not regged, you can try PMing Bloo09. Reg gets a lot of e-mail and I'm sure they're working through it as they can.

Hey Voltaire, I registered right at noon when the page came up, but I haven't gotten a confirmation yet. Did the first wave include all of those who registered right when it opened? I hope I'm not being too annoying, but I figured asking early is better than waiting and being S.O.L. ^^;

I third it... I had the page open at 11:55 and kept hitting the refresh button until it popped up with the registration page. It kept on saying that reg would open at noon, but at 12:04 it finally let me reg. I got a recipt page back, and that I'd hear something within 72 hours. I'm hoping that I hear something soon...

I fifth that? I registered at 4pm in the afternoon but I DID NOT get a waiting list message so I assumed I got past the first part (LOL I had my computer ready to go at 1pm (noon CST) but I started making a duct tape dummy of my husband and it took like 2-3 hours to finish with just myself doing it >.< . I'm making a full body mascot outfit of "Xiz" my black and white horned mascot for all the AA I do. The costume will premiere at Ohayocon.
