so, my mom is taking me, my brother, and my friend this year. do we have to get separate usernames(accounts) to register? i think she is signing us all in a group, and paying that way. is there anyway u can put it all one one account? thank you for your help!

Everyone that is attending the convention needs to have an account in our system, there isn't a way for a person to register for a group of badges on one account. After everyone has their own account your mom can create a group and invite everyone into it. Then after everyone is in the group she can pay for everyone at once. Below is a link to our FAQ, that has step by step instructions on how to do this, it's at the bottom of the post in a quote box.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm taking care of registration for everyone in my group. One of my group members wants a fairly long badge name, and I'm worried it will get cut off (even though it fits in the badge name field).

Could you please tell me what the character limit is for printing on the badges? Thanks! :D

My anime club's registering together as a group and such this year [finally] and we were wondering if we had to pay mailing for each badge if we have them all sent to one address?

You have to pay for mailing on every badge that is to be mailed, whether it is part of a group or not. The badges are to be mailed to the the group leader.

How can I check my pre-registered badge info? I registered for the early bird,and i'm pretty sure I clicked the "$2 extra" button.

If you log back into the system, on the left menu click "Get Confirmation." After that look at the line that says registration status and if it says "paid - hold for mail" your badge will be mailed to you. If it doesn't send me a PM with your name, user name in the system (but not the password), badge name or badge number and I'll see what's going on for you.

Hi there,

I'm so sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm at work and don't have time to look through the posts! And I tried PMing a registration person, but no one's gotten back to me, so here goes:

My family and I remember pre-regging for Acen 2010 at the end of last year's con, but we can't find any of our information like badge numbers and such. I've registered for Artist Alley, and if I get confirmed that I got in I have to provide my badge number within 24 hours otherwise I don't get the spot.

So, can I give someone a list of my family member's names to look up in the system? Can someone PM me?

First question of 2010 - Yay? O_o

Anyway, here's to hoping this hasn't been asked and that you can help me/inform me about it. (Sorry if it's something simple I missed. -_-")

For the past few years now I and a bunch of friends who I go to school with have attended ACen, combining in a group when registering and having my mother pay. This year, in hopes of making the 10+ people or whatever for the discount (because, ya know, we all tend to be fairly broke high schoolers...) we're adding some friends we met at the con last year (one of whom an IRL friend had minor family connections to, so nothing shifty going on). The idea was to all join said group, have one person with a credit card pay, and then have them pay us back at con. The friend is telling me that he was planning on paying for everyone in his local group and then adding them all to our group; I don't think this is possible, is it? At least, I would assume not, but he's telling me he's stilling being shown the option to pay despite the fact that he's been added to our group. (He's not a group leader, by the way.)

tl;dr: Groups have to pay as a group, don't they? Or did I miss something? >_<

Groups do need to pay for everyone at once. Once a group has selected one of the payment options the group is closed and you should not be able to modify it. So as far as adding additional people to a group after the initial payment has been made, you shouldn't be able to.

YES This is something new we're doing this year. If your group is going for one day you can register (not pay of course) online and email us your group name. We will go in and fix things up in the account to be ready for you to just come and pay at con in the groups section. This will speed up your time with us at con drastically.

Search the forums and couldn't find the solution to a problem.

My gf and I have comped badges this year, due to a prior situation. The accounts were set up, mailing was selected, and then the badges were changed to comp. Multiple problems came up and I was finally about to log in and pay the mailing fee yesterday. However, I cannot find a pay option. The Badge Status is "paid - hold for mail". Now I know I didn't pay for mailing yet. Is there any way around this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember your situation. I went into you group and made the changes necessary so that the payment option should appear. Let me know if you run into any more problems.

I'm having a problem with registration and i need some help.....I went to pay for my group and after i submitted all the information and my credit card number an error occured. There was a red screen and all it said was "A serious error occured" and logged me out. I'm not sure if the payment went through or not but i don't want to pay again if it did!
