one quick question, you might've already been asked this though.

I know we get the Book, Lanyard and whatever else at con, yes?
Where exactly do we get them?

Also, another question. I know this isn't a registration question but no one else seems to answer me.
Where would I get tickets for the Masquerade? (cosplay)
I've heard you just pick them up, but I don't know...

You get the book, lanyard, and flyers etc in Hall A in the convention center in the Registration section.

For bringing a valid ID to purchase the badges at-con, does that include teens ages 13+? And would a school ID be okay?

Im sorry if Im repeating something...because I couldn't find the question anywhere(or didn't try hard enough), so I thought I should post it here...

A school ID is fine. We require anyone above the age of 16 to show a valid photo ID when you pick up your badge. If you are under the age of 16, we understand that you may not have an ID and do not require it.

Hi, this might be stupid question that I could easily find the answer to somewhere else (and I should probably know considering this is my fourth year going >.>) but I didn't have time to pre-register.
So to just get the badge at the con what exactly do you need to bring?

Besides payment, of course, do you need to bring an ID?

We do ask that you bring a photo ID to purchase a badge. It's only required for people over the age of 16 though.

School ID's are valid forms of ID for registration.... Just FYI


On a side note, school ID's are not valid forms of ID for 18+ Events.

Can someone please please PLEASE help me find a site to just buy the badges. Not a registration one that doesn't work because my dad is too cheap to upgrade. I really want to go and me and my mom have been planning this since January! Please direct me to a site where I can BUY them not veiw the prices. (Thats what happened LAST time I got an answer.) Please please please help me I am beginning to freak out. If me and my mom will have to wait in line for two hours she'll be so upset. We're going on her birthday too so please with sugar on top link me to a place where I can buy the badges without it being the ACEN con center. I seriously need to know since May is so close. We're going for only one day so we don't need a hotel or anything.
Please I'm begging you guys help me actually buy them. I'm getting desperate my life is so stressful right know just getting a site where I can actually buy them will just take so much off of me. Please I'm begging you guys for some help. (I haven't had any real help with this. My mom said we should just go to a ticket site and get them. I'm not sure what kind of ticket site your mom is thinking of, you can only get Acen badges from us. Unfortunately, we are past the deadline to purchase badges online, the online registration closed April 15th. You will have to buy your badge at the convention but don't worry, you won't have to wait more than an hour, if that! I was working the Special Needs booth in registration last year and the line moved at lightning speed! If you're purchasing a one day badge, you can even get those a day ahead (ie, if you're planning to go Saturday, you can come by on Friday to buy your one day badge). Please don't stress, you'll be able to get in, no worries! :)

Online registration closed on April 15th. You can purchase single day badges at con the day before and the day of their use. Friday can be purchased on thurs and friday for example. Our hours of operation are posted on the website. Make sure you bring a photo ID!!! We accept Visa, Master, and Discover card, US currency, money orders and business checks. We no longer accept personal checks at the convention.

Ok. I'll tell my mom and we'll go Friday to pick up the badge. (We're only planning to go Saturday anyways so this was a lot of help.) Trust me we would have ordered online before the fifteenth if it wasn't for our lack of money right now. I'll be sure to tell her. Thanks again for the help.

I have a question about registration... I sent Bloo09 a PM but I'll post here too.

I had signed up to do a panel, but my panel was denied. You guys let us know that we could register online and still receive the rate that was the price of reg when we signed up for the panel, which was $40. However I missed the online reg deadline. If I register at-con, how can I receive that rate of $40 I was promised because my panel was denied?

Correction! Help desk does not handle payment in any form. If you go to a regular payment station they will have your discounted price on file. If they don't we'll fix it :)

I created an account and completed the registration information, but did not pay before the site shut down. Does that mean I have to wait in the regular registration line, or am I good to go with pre-registration?

If you did not pay you go in the regular registration line. You made the life of a cashier a lot easier by already entering the information in the system, we thank you kindly and it will make your registration go a lot quicker <3

at this point we have about 20,000 accounts, if we separated those not in the system and those who are the who are line would actually be longer and the who isn't line would be the short one. Eitherway you still need to fill out a form and go through the same process so we do not separate the lines. The form is entered AFTER the attendee leaves with their badge so there is no waiting longer behind someone who isn't in the system, it's pretty much the same amount of time to process both.

Just to clarify, what if we already had our badge mailed? Will there be somewhere we can just pick up a packet (aka not the LINE for Registration)? :P

I've registered on April 15th, but still didn't receive my badge. So, here are the two questions that I have:

1st: I know that I can get the badge at the con, but what do I have to bring to prove that it's already paid for.

Question. Previous years, when we printed out the Confirmation, there was a Confirmation Code on it as well, I noticed that there was no confirmation code on our confirmation letters. Are we omitting the confirmation code this year? Seems we can't get in to review our registration at all anymore.

The registration system was closed on April 16th.

We are able to look you up by your badge name, e-mail, full name, etc etc. The confirm number is more for our side and proof that you have indeed paid.

Unless you have a common name or common badge name your ID will be an efficient source for looking your up in the registration system
