To be honest, I don't use Gaia that much in terms of games. :x

Well I joined in 2006 but since then all of my accounts have been banned for supposed "hacking". The forums seemed a little less hectic/repetitive back then, though.

I started playing Gaia years ago, when it first started. That lasted all of about three days. I quickly got bored. My account still exists but I don't use it.

My Gaia character barely has any clothes or props at all. Of the stuff I do have on there, my ex boyfriend gave to me. I still remember my username and password.

My avvy has a BUNCH of stuff, but that's because I was experimenting with "playing the Marketplace". I played puzzles and games and what not until I had money to invest on inexpensive but popular items, and then I got rich (like a few hundred thousand gold), and spent all my loot on my avvy.

I tried the zOMG! game; it's really cute, but I'm not that great at it--I still haven't gotten past the Zen Gardens. I kinda hate that I don't have the time/skill to play it (and it relies so much on socializing--I'm kind of a loner on Gaia)--I love some of the items that are exclusive to the game that I can't get because I can't play it! ::cry::

Everyone is either a) looking for cyber or B) a troll

The marketplace is too easy to make money in. My avvy looks really cool, but I hardly go on.

People are too aggressive in the forums. And I never really got into ZOMG!.


However, I admit to getting into it for quite a while. Made my first account when I was about 12, forgot it, and went back this year and made another one.

I do play on it every so often, but my original account was hacked a few years ao and since then I sort of lost that spark. Going on there was like, "Whats the point if I'm gonna get hacked again, ya know?" I had a bunch of really awesome stuff too. My new account is okay, but nothing like the one I had years prior to 2007.

I've been on Gaia a couple of years now...I spend most my time in the towns chatting (when literate conversations happen). . .i don't know if it's just me but i do have a lot of fun watching people fight on the gaia towns...???

i used to love gaia so much, then it got worse and worse to the point of which gaia sold out it's members.
we could earn gaia cash if we did little things, surveys, signed up for websites, all these "free" offers that either blindly charged you or filled your computer to the brim with virus after virus.

i should go check mine...
i do love my avi though. i'm Harley Quinn and i think i do a damn good job.

Gaia is going downhill, that can easily be agreed on by anyone who has been around since before the cash shop. Cash shop ruined the economy. Destroyed it. Now all the gold I earned and bartered for can easily be bought. And seeing as I don't see fit to spend real money on pixels I can earn, I'm kind of thrown out of that loop.
Used to be 1-3 million would get me the best artist that I wanted. I had 1 mil on hand and all I could find were people I would say should be around 30k at best. All the artists I wanted had gone up to 10 mil. It's depressing, seeing as art was half the reason I was on Gaia. Now I just check up on it to keep up with my friends and run mah charity xD;
Certain good artists, like I believe Melokii and Salice is an Idiot, did join a little group doing art cheaply to try and fix the art economy. Well, I hope they can do it D8
As it stands now I'm far too afraid to hang out anywhere but at the same artists threads I've been stalking for years or the charities.

Nonetheless, if anybody not doing so well on their own needs a hand, you're welcome to the charity. Just make sure you read the rules of my helpers may bite your head off.

I signed up to Gaia about 3 years ago (I think). After a month or so, I stopped playing it. After two years I started submitting some of my drawing into the art arena. I think that's the only reason why I still play.
