Still plan on having a photo shoot coming up soon so I hope everyone's Cosplays are coming along smashingly! When we are close to being finished. (Which I plan on being soon!) We will announce date for said gathering!

That's the problem I have, too Dx Thursday is my last final... and the class is from 9 AM to 4 PM, haha. I'll be packing up my dorm as much as possible and then sleeeeping all Thursday night so I'm ready for con Friday. It's going to be a super hectic weekend for me >___>;

Hmm I too have class till 4 after looking at my schedule. Boooooo class.

Well I know my GG crew will be at the meet and greet so if anyone is there for that it will be cool to see ya there! Not sure if I am gonna cosplay on Thursday or night. (I want to but then again I might be jumping the gun) But I do know my friends and I wanted to get pictures of us plaing GG with our cosplays on while using the characters we are cosplaying so if anyone is interested in that we would love to include you!

That just reminds me of when I played in GG tourneys while in my A.B.A cosplay at past ACens... everyone wanted me to play her, but I couldn't...

Yeah, it's not like I can play MY BB character either, LOL.

Haha, that was the lucky thing for me-- when I cosplayed Jam. Since she's my main... (or was, until Accent Core Tch. Killed my timing on kick-chaining.)

SO how are everyone's costumes coming along? xD I'm fussing with Kokonoe's tail like mad, this harness is being very difficult and not wanting to stay upright- need to feed more wires into it. Then I just gotta add the white tips on top, and then once I know how the harness works, I can applique the tail hole in the jacket (still have to sew in the closures, too). My mom needs to send me the bell I left at her house still...

Make up at the con is gonna be such a pain in the butt Dx I promise I'll try not to take up your bathroom for like, an hour, Jam-Kiske! (I'll be trying to do most of it at home first anyway, but the eyebrows will have to wait until con... I don't want to have random pink/double eyebrows on the El LMAO)

Well My friends and I seem to be coming along! I finished making my double reverse belts for Ky and now today I am off to the metal shop to start plasma cutting my Belt Buckle that say hope on it..... but I was thinking since I am going as Kuro ky kiske and not just ky maybe writing Lust or Hate on it to be clever. Or I might make two different ones! My sword is almost done and it should be a sight to see! Also I just got news that my wig will be here in two days! YAY! I cannot wait to take a finished picture and show you guys when it is done!

Something else you could do is have HOPE on there, but have a big ol' slash going through it. Sorta like the crossed out missingnin Naruto headbands /shot

I know for a fact official Guilty Gear plushies do not exist- though, I have seen some plushie commissioners on dA that have made GG plushies, so you could check one of them. They ain't cheap though, I've looked myself ^^;

I can imagine that being an issue. Hmmm My friend is a metal worker and is helping me with some stuff I will show him the pick and maybe we can help you.

The main reason materials are a problem is because I'm down at school (U of I) and don't have my car on me.

I can take a bus, but I don't know the area/ shops that well except for places close to campus.

Should have mentioned this in the post above...oh well.

If you can get some sort of concept scetch to me I think I can see if my friend and I could help you out with your delema! I personally Love to cosplay craft and right now we are working with low gage steel for my hope belt.... even though I might have it say Lust or envy still not sure.... But yeah I am back in the shop with him today and Wed/Thurs so please let me know Asap.

Hmmm... spikes? Do you mean like his goopy tendrils? I bet you could do it with creative cloth tearing! Though, getting it to stay stiff and in its shape might be a problem... interfacing, maybe?

I didn't think about being goopy like.... good idea. I may be able to fit that in.

The video and times above show what i want to combine into the final cosplay

1:08 has the bada$$ chin taunt of doom. It want it because it's cool and i need something for money transactions and food.
2:30 is the chin taunt again

3:23 the spikes i was talking about appear here ( or they look like spikes to me). There are six total. Think of doing a wire frame and putting whatever i make the spikes out of over them.

I plan on having the top part black and the bottom part red( 1.get black sheet 2. paint bottom part red 3.??? 4.Profit) the arm for the chin taunt and doing the spikes somehow...

So overall it somewhat easy...except for the spikes.

Ohhhh, you mean his bone arms. Those I've seen done by a Japanese cosplayers, but I'm not sure what they made it out of. Depending on what the main body of your costume is made of, a heavier material for them might not hold up straight and would sag... Are you planning on having your arms stay within the structure, or have some kind of sleeves..?

If by meetup you mean a shoot, then.... No, since the cosplay department decided to do organized shoots only this year >.>; You'll probably get asked to move if you try to do a shoot spontaneously in a booked area.

I was thinking one arm is structure in one in a sleeve.

I may have to have both in...I'll have to wait and see.

Don't know what to make them out of...could always do paper.
