Maybe I should. I used to do claymation a long time ago and have a few programs laying around. Hmmm....

Only problem is it takes some force to move the joints and doing so may move other joints I don't want...still would be a good experiment.

I've seen Dollfies before, and they do look cute, but... I could never save up enough money for one. TT.TT

But, sometime I would really like to get one...they seem so neat, and Yuki really looks cute, too, Suigetsu. ^^

How hard are they to keep safe and unbroken, by the way?

a lot of dollfie are expensive, excluding the VOLKS 27cm models. None of those base bodies are more than 30 $
most are about 18 though...

I think me & Suigetsu had talked about it. I think having it a little before or after the Dollfie panel would be a reasonable idea.

As for keeping Dollfie safe and unbroken, as long as you don't toss them around they should be fine. I had the body sitting around in its original package for nearly a year & buried under some light thing, there was no damage. Now that I've got her head & put her together, I find somewhere to put her where she won't fall over & probably down the stairs.

I went to Comic Con (guess they changed the name of Wizard World) today. I was going to bring Yuki with but my friends mom was driving at the last second and she thinks me as normal so you know how that goes. I got a present for Yuki while there.

Yeah. I personally would never pay over 1k for a doll unless she walks around and have conversations with me...

Yuki's new clothes came today! ^^
Moreover...my mom saw the box so I had to tell her about it...at least I don't have to hide Yuki any more....
I could tell she was kinda disappointed, but there are worse things I could be doing.

I picked up a futon, pillow, and blanket from Dollmore pretty cheap.

The reason that the order took for ever was because they had to make the shirt/tie custom since the one they normally stock is too big for Yuki.

They sent me a free pair of eyes but I'm not gonna use them now on Yuki. They're just black pupils. They also threw in a free pair of glasses (I guess because the order took almost a month).
Yuki doesn't think the glasses suit her. At least this pair.

Personally I adore the idea. I am hoping it will be just as much fun to make the same clothes I make on a smaller scale.

Hello Diedie.

Personally,I'm planning a couples cosplay with Yuki. Thinking of an Idolm@ster outfit for her and the producer for me, but I'm still thinking about it.

Pictures are where it all is for Dolls. Making scale clothing is a hard deal if you try to scale down normal patterns. CAD works great, but I know most people don't have access to that so get good at math. ^^

I just found a 1/3 scale bouquet of roses for Yuki. She's wanting me to get her a wedding dress, but I don't know...

See cosplaying with the doll just makes it all the more fun and just think of the great pictures you'll be able to take with Yuki.

Indeed that is going to be difficult....But worth it.

...I want a doll now, looking at that finished product it's just so clean cut and nice.

EDIT:

I just showed my mom that link and she said she actually went to a panel with that lady at NDK one year (in Denver) and she was just telling me about one of the techniques she just randomly remembered.

For fabrics that fray, since the clothes are to small and fray check absorbs fabric (making it shrink) you can actually use Elmer's glue with a toothpick or whatever and go around the edges so they won't fray up to much or anything.

Granted it was a year or two ago that she went to this panel, so she may have forgotten a few details. But still, good to know information.

Taejun came with me to ACen 09 because Asriel didn't have a body back then, but Asriel will definitely be joining me this year instead. If I have time I might try to make him a Roxas cosplay in case there's another doll cosplay contest, because he unintentionally ended up looking like Roxas anyway. xDD That is assuming I don't bring someone else home before May~
