Yeah, I noticed. ;_; Regardless, my friends & I will definitely be a Haji, Time-Jump Saya, & David hanging around, at least some point during the weekend. We'll stop by to see if anyone's alive at the shoot, haha.

I had changed my mind and decided not to bring it cause there sooo much going on but I'll bring it anyways.
It's a little beat up but maybe I can fix it in the room the night before. It was stored away improperly causing a bit of damage.

Y'all are in the Dome right after Ouran High School Host Club! I'll be in Tamaki cosplay, but I will do my best to stick around and take lots of pictures~ Blood+ is my second favorite series of all time. <3

I plan to be Haji at some point, it just ain't happenin' this year.

It was a very, very small group, unfortunately. :C Like, only six people showed up (not all were even cosplaying)

Well...as much as I'd love to bring this back - to get some cool shots with my psycho saya cosplay -I don't know if it's gonna happen. Less and less people show up each year

Yeah unfortunately the timing for this got planned out very badly in terms of my schedule and I didnt make it.

I will not be running a shoot next year. I might have a group in like a year or two, but I wont be hosting the shoot. Since it finished airing less and less people have come and from what I can tell this year was no different.

So sorry guys but unless someone else runs the shoot, there wont be a Blood+ photoshoot next year.

I think I might take charge of it. True, I was disappointed in the turn-out, but I don't want to give up on the fandom! Especially when people are introduced to the series after it's done, it's such a let-down to know that all the previously dedicated fans have given up.
So, I think I'll take the reigns.
Uuuunfortunately, I've only ever been to three conventions before (five be the end of summer lol). n_n; Do any of you have any advice for how I'd go about managing it? I kind of just assumed someone would just take responsibility for making the thread and manning the photoshoot area.

Well aside from creating the thread and what not you have to:
- keep peace within the thread and make sure that people stay focused when you try to iron out times and locations. with a bunch of otaku's online it's easy to get distracted.
- ALSO - you are responsible for making sure that the time and place gets into the program booklet so you have to keep your eyes on the sticky sections of this forum to see when cactusmomma posts up a thread about gathering '11.
- Once the convention comes around you have to be there a little earlier than you scheduled it to make sure that people know who is in charge. All of the shoots that I've run, I got there two minutes late and someone else had already taken control. It's fine to me because i hate being in control but for the sake of organization and keeping everyone cool headed, you need to mark someone as being in control.

It's a great idea to have a second in command in case you can't be there earlier or in case you don't want to yell over people to get their attention.

Wahh I want someone to photograph my awsomeness, I hope someone will make it out and have a photo gathering at somepoint, out of all my cosplays david is the easiest for me to pull off and my closest in looks, with the german face and blond hair and blue eyes. sad sad
