Hi everyone! I'm totally new to this and ACEN 2009 was the first for me. I didn't meet many friends since I went with a group of newbies also. We had so much fun but there were so many things we didn't realize we could do or enjoy until it was over. Hope I can network more friends for next year!

Also: does anyone know the Aizen in my photobucket? We don't have an Aizen for our Bleach summer photo fun! or if anyone knows one or is a perfect Aizen? Thanks!

pretty sure i saw you and your group on sunday.. walked past you a couple times outside convention center on the sidewalk.. i was walking around with another asian guy and this was me.

It's sucks yeah? I've been going for 4 years and I still haven't made new friends, but that's my fault really. x3 Well kinda. Anywhoo at least for next year you'll know better, trust me it just gets more awesome every year. :x

I had so much fun this year and I'll take your word for it that It'll be more fun! At least I know I shouldn't have missed a lot of things.

I don't know if I talked to ran into the one of you guys at all. I met so many more people this year than the 3 acens before and so it was my best. I was cosplaying ask Major Raikov from Metal Gear Solid 3. That's me in the avatar.

...i met some ppl but as they were leavin so i didnt get to hang...i got so boring at acen (bc this was my first yr goin) that i was ready to leave sat aft...but i decided to go to rave...i cant dance...but this random girl recognized my costume and asked if i was comin sun...i said no and she threw the words that made my day...she told that she was gonna be etna and she had a prinny...i went sun and it made my con day im goin nxt yr bc of her!

Hey! Well, as someone who's been on both sides of the fence (going to con with people vs. hitting a con solo) at least you had a group with you your first time. First time I've staffed ACen 5 years ago I was on my own, but making friends hasn't ever been a problem. Honestly, ACen just gives you too many icebreakers sometimes than you know what to do with!

Anyway, here's hoping your next con goes just as well, whether it's ACen or *gasp* some other con. Feel free to message me! I am in the same boat as you, thinking I really need to make more friends at-con (or at least try on my off-hours during ACen, haha)
