My name is Samantha, and my badge identified me as something along the lines of 'Miu'. Most of the weekend, I chilled with my group of friends and bopped around from place to place in the Convention. I lost voice after only the first day, and sounded emphasemic much to my chagrin. I still tried being my typical, loud self despite my hoarse attempt at conversation, and was still as spazzy as I usually am. During the Rave, I was a bit more subdued, and for some reason, was a bit more apprehensive to greet people in the line. I mostly offered fist taps with my paws or just followed along behind my friends so that I wouldn't get lost.


Looking For:

1. Death the Kid - This guy was fantastic. On Saturday night, my friends and I were mulling about in our Gurren outfits when we started a conversation with some friends having a smoke on the Hyatt Balcony. They asked us to come up, we complied, and merriment was had. There was a girl who was a Special Education teacher, as well as a Sten from Soul Eater, but me and Death hit it off and I'd like to keep in touch with him. I forgot his name, but he was a hoot, and I'd appreciate any information that I can get to stalk him down like the creeper I am.

2. Imposter Gurren Group - These guys were halarious. We met them on Friday night anf mentioned that we all had a Team Gurren theme, and challenged them to a Gar Off when the both of us were ready to pierce the Heavens together. We saw each other again on Saturday night, and quoted 'Kung Pow' as well as other random stuff. My group as well as myself would love to get in contact with them again!

I think I might know the Death the Kid you are talking about! I know that there was more than one, but I also know that one of the guys I was rooming with was cosplaying as him. Send me a PM and I will get you a picture and you can see if that might be him or not

Hey, figured this might be a long shot, but I'll give it a try anyways. I'm looking for a couple different people from Saturday and Sunday, I wanted to talk to them more, but my shyness and habit of wandering around the con prevented me from doing so. I was walking around on Saturday wearing the Yugioh Abridged "In America!" shirt, and Sunday wearing a white football jersey #26. Also wearing a black ROH (Ring of Honor) hat backwards all weekend.

1st Person: Princess Peach cosplayer with parasol in the Hyatt lobby Saturday night. You gave me a dirty look after I originally declined an offer from someone else to take a picture with you. I was impressed by how great you looked in cosplay and wanted to talk to you some more. (I'm sorry by the way! Just wanted to be respectful!)

2nd Person: Chun-li cosplayer from both Friday and Saturday (wearing black outfit on Friday in dealer hall, blue outfit on Saturday night in Hyatt lobby), I wanted to talk to you some more, but once again by habit to wander around the convention got the best of me (sorry!)

You also invited us for pizza with your brother and friend. We also played with your wooden kunai. You also said you were going to cosplay as a bleach character with a mask the next day. Warren(I think that's your name?): Asian looking kid who danced with my group of asian girls/guys on the Saturday rave. You had a black mask with glowing blue lights on it, and at one point had a blue sword as well. My friend was blowing bubbles and you kept trying to pop them while dancing with the rest of them. You danced with us for a really long time and did the Macarena with us LOL. I heard that at the end after my twin and I left, you danced with one of my sister's friends. Please buddy us if it's you! I wore a gray wolf ear hat, I had Yellow ( well it was fading) yellow and some brown in my hair, a rainbow necklace ( on Friday it was pooka shells), Purple short shorts with glow sticks on the belt loops, on Saturday i had white sparkle leg warmers, both days i was doused and pretty much covered in glitter.......gold glitter on Friday and pink on Saturday.

Okay this is gonna be weird and I have no expectations of finding this guy because neither of us were cosplaying, but...

It was at one of the raves - I think it was at Soap Bubble because I stayed there longer and this happened awhile after I had been there.

I'm black, have short black hair like an afro. I was wearing a black tank top and grey skinny jeans, had rings of glow-sticks on my belt and my top I think. Pretty sure I had taken my shoes off at this point. I was dancing by myself in the mid-right section of the crowd from the stage, and then he shows up and starts dancing with me. He was black, short black hair (maybe an afro), wearing regular clothes that I can't really picture right now - I think it was just jeans and a dark long-sleeve shirt or something.

I was "getting my groove on", so I didn't mind the random guy who was now dancing with me, but over time, dancing led to touching, touching led to kissing, kissing got intense... it wasn't until he was trying to lead me to touch "him" that I broke away and said I was gonna leave or go look for my friends or something. I know it was stupid not to stop him before things got so far, but... I don't know - the rave music might have released my inhibitions, and I guess I'm just really submissive sometimes and I was completely shocked by what was actually happening. I don't think I saw him for the rest of the convention, but he could have worn a costume later on. I didn't have any costume for the weekend.

I guess I don't really know what I'm asking for here. It wasn't a magical moment and I don't think he's my soul mate or anything, but you have to understand: a stranger came up to me and made out with me and wanted to do more. I know this should be a big problem for me, but it doesn't bother me except for the fact that I have no idea who he is. I'm not often seen as attractive, haven't been in many relationships, and I'll be honest - I wasn't the best dancer there. He wasn't under the influence of anything (as far as I know), and nothing about the situation made me uncomfortable until things were leading to a more sexual side that I definitely wasn't ready for. AND THIS WAS MY FIRST YEAR AT ACen - definitely a memorable thing for me.

Random guy, you left an impact. I guess I really wanna know - WHO ARE YOU?
