Neither me or my boyfriend knows how to dance. T-T

I'm looking for some people to teach me some moves for Underground Groove and Soap Bubble. Or just people to hang out with during either dance. I'm not looking for a date. ^See info about boyfriend above.

Anybody else feel lonely at the raves?

I find that when you're dancing in the dark and surrounded by people, it almost doesn't matter (unless you're flailing about, slapping people with your limbs, and generally making them hate you  ). I've never been able to dance, but I never feel bad imitating the people around me at a rave or party (on the rare occasions that I go).

My first rave was in a warehouse back in the late 90's when I was in university. I just watched what other people did and tried to match their moves. It feels really good. And just remember, Bruce Lee was a dancer.

Don't worry. The non-dancers will just form big dance circles. This seems to be a new trend. I don't get it, but I don't get a lot.

Like 2 people dancing in a circle and the other people just watching?

Yep. Trend seems to have started about two years ago. Again, I don't get it. I go to dances to dance, not watch other people.

I think the whole point is to clear a space for acrobatics/ a show (hard to do on a crowded party floor unless you form a good, solid wall).

A lot of the people I see in the center are really good, and tend to execute flips, space-consuming maneuvers and what not. That would be a bad plan on the average party floor unless sufficient space is available.

Yes, it seems to me that the most seasoned ravers and break dancers are in the middle.

Yoh *waves* hi I bboy (breakdance) pop n lock, krump, jazz, and a tiny bit of ballet. There is a battle/cyper going down at 4 pm on saturday in the dealers room. I love to teach people how to dance
Why do a backflip when you can do one on fire!!

well definitely not jazz or ballet too fast of beats and not enough room xD

ummm break dancing is a little hard to learn ...idk just general hip hop how to roll swing your hips maybe a little bit of waving ^^'

the most important thing tho is to have fun and be yourself
