I've seen tons of great cosplayers in the past and was wondering if everyone else would like to share what they have found!

And NO BASHING ALLOWED. I dont want this to turn into those threads that pick on people because "That guy is black and he is cosplaying a white character". So what. This thread is for the purpose of discussing what we believe to be awesome cosplays regardless of age/race/gender.

I know that there's going to be tons of fangirls that are like "OMG, he's so sexy!" but my friend Chris has had some of the most impressive costumes I've seen and he really puts time and effort into them. For people who don't know him by name he's a violinist for the Spoony Bards. He has cosplayed as Sephiroth, Setzer, Vincent Valentine and others that aren't popping to the front of my mind right now. He's also one of my closest friends boyfriend so the crazy girls need to back off.

i saw him at youmacon last year and i thought he looked awsome
and he is an awsome vionlinist he sounds really good and his violin is different from the traditional ones but thats what is great aboutr his

Yeah, whenever he's a bit inebriated I try to convince him to give me free lessons....it still hasn't worked after 5 years of trying. I'm kind of sad because I haven't seen him since ACen last year and he isn't going to be there this year because he's studying in Japan. And just t throw this back on topic, his Vincent last year was by far the best that I have ever seen.

Theres to many to name off, Acen last year had some pretty outstanding outfits. As for this year Im hoping I could be one of them.

OFF-TOPIC: My 7th science teacher was actually that anti-sora's...Sister, I believe? He told me about her, I was shocked when I saw her anti-sora. O.O
Also, one of the science teachers in our freshman class is from the Spoony Bards--She hosts our anime club. Maybe anime fans really do unconsciously gather? xD


ON-TOPIC: The best I've ever seen... Well, that's hard. I don't have a picture, but the Fran & Wedding Ashe from last year were amazing~~

Definitely agreed with Anti Sora's cosplay from 2007. I'll put in my selection too... PikminLink's Link cosplay in 2006. There are definitely tons more who get my salute, but I'm too lazy at the moment...

Well I wish i had a picture to pull up, but I remember a damn good Maes Hughes at metrocon. I know we dont want discrimination but It was just... his face. It looked like someone took the character design sheet and made someting out of it with people meat. It was perfectly spot on.

She is such a sweetheart. I think her and the anti-Sora are going to have an AA table, but Im not 100% sure on that.
