Hey guys

Well last year me and my best friend arrived a little late to acen, and we did not get to meet as many people as we wanted to. We thought it was awesome that people liked anime this much and we were let down by not being able to stay too long. Anyway since this is our second year, and last year was a bust, I was wondering if some people would like to show us around and chit chat. LADIES ARE MORE THAN WELCOME BECAUSE WE ARE SINGLE.. lol, but we seriously want to meet everyone that wants to. We are also over 23 so if someone would like to take a quick drink or something we are up for that (as long as it isn't too much haha). Anyway I am cosplaying as Colonello and here are some pics for reference.

hey bro,

Yeah I know what you mean walking around acen not meeting enough people. 28/M, My previous acen pals are either long gone or not returning to the con for this year, so I need to run into more people around my age. This is going to be my 9th con (cannot believe I started this in 1999) and have noticed age demographic rapidly changing. Hard holding conversations with teenagers about anything, need to talk to adults. Always looking to make some new contacts for the future. Really down with whatever.

im new to the con so im tryin to meet up with ppl...i'm tryin to get some of my buddies to come with me so i'd be in a bigger crowd...looks like they wana go but comin up with cash so l8...they might not go...i've got one buddy...and my relatives...but they might have their own plans...so...i'd wana get to know as many as possible...

Awesome sounds like fun. I can't wait to meet new people, and I am sure from your avatar that you will probably seen the gundam experience panel (when went last year and loved it ) so that would be awesome. I know what you mean about having a conversation with someone your own age, as I see alot of cons where people are in their early teens (nothing wrong with that but there is a big difference between a 14 year old and a 23 year old).

Yeah, have been to it twice during my acen run. Great panel, especially the stuff they give away. You can easily tell which gundam series was my favorite back in the day. Check out all the 21+ meet up threads and parties, I am going to try to hit up all of them. Would like to meet some contacts with similar interests on thursday so I won't have to go solo for all three days. Since I have been here so long I usually only check out a couple things out during the con now a days, the masquerade ball, anime hell, a concert, and the soap bubble (might check out the other dance being set up for 21+). The soap bubble line has gotten completely out of hand over the years. Plus I won't go if I don't go in with others my age like I have in the past. Always up to get my groove on, but not with teenagers thats for sure. Remember one year in particular many years back when I met all these different guys on thursday and friday separately, so when saturday night came at the dance we somehow all found each other on the dance floor dancing with girls. One guy in particular who I had chilled with throughout the con became my wingman on friday and saturday night and we actually made a good team. Damn feels like yesterday, memories.

Yeah i was planning on going to the 21+ party still at the aloft. Just let me know if you or anyone else want to hang out. I will be in a Colonello cosplay, and I am sure you will be able to spot me at the Gundam Experience panel.
