Has anyone ever had dreams or nightmares related to ACen?

I personally often have nightmares about ACen. In the nightmares one or many things happen... I forget my cosplay, don't bring my money, get lost, don't book a hotel and/or miss the entire con from standing in lines.

Oh geez...I think I just had one last night. : | It was the Friday of ACEN, and one of my friends was bitching me out because I apparently wasn't there on Thursday to check them into the hotel. It was weeeeeird~ XD

As a staffer, I have frequent nightmares about con as it gets closer.
In fact, I don't think I've had a decent nights worth of sleep in 3 weeks and counting.
But, I still love it.

I've had a few nightmares where I forgot my camera. But nothing more serious than that.

Considering last night I swear there were at least three tornadoes in my dreams and then I had a dream where I was in a car accident and spent the con with a broken arm and broken ankle....that would be a yes.

Of course the tornadoes could also be blamed on school.

I've had a couple nightmares about Acen, but my most recent dream was like a warped version of Acen. All my teachers were there o.O Friday was like a cosplay murder mystery party, and you could buy merchandise either inside or outside in a marketplace area. This meant that rain during Acen was impossible. I remember worrying that it would get dark before I got to shop...and that all my friends and teachers were there except for one person who ironically IS going to Acen this year xD

I actually had a nightmare I forgot the top and boots to my Yoko outfit and had to cancel the entire thing at Acen, letting folks who wanted to see it down.

A few nights ago I had a dream that I forgot my wig. It was horrible.
I was being yelled at by everyone. "You can't be anyone without a wig!" -n' stuff like that.
Then I woke up and I was very relieved. :]
I really hope that doesn't happen next week. Curse you dreams!

On the first of January of this year, I had a particularly vivid dream that I arrived at ACen Friday evening, and I realized I had no cosplay for Saturday. The friend I was rooming with then led me on a cross-town saga to get a white sweatshirt, jeans, and black eyeliner so we could throw together a L cosplay.

When we got to Wal-mart, we quickly realized that the staff were nothing but other Death Note cosplayers. Misa was in Cosmetics, Mikami was in Home Furnishings, Takada was in Clothing, Rem was in Arts and Crafts (goodness knows why), Matt was in Electronics, Near was in Toys (where else?), Matsuda and Ryuk were in Groceries. And Watari was that voice you keep hearing over the PA system.

...And as insane as it sounds, all this inspired me to actually go along with my "angel" L cosplay this year.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Mello was in the section of the store where you can get outdoor/camping equipment...and every time Near wandered by to restock his shelves, Mello would shoot him...

I can't believe there's a topic like this, I thought
I was the only one with weird dreams about ACen!

Anyway, in my dream, we were in the hotel room, just
finishing unpacking, settling in, and about to hit the con,
when I discover that I hadn't finished my costume! So I'm
sitting on the hotel bed (it was a room with two twins, when
in reality, we got one king size) sewing away at my costume
and on the verge of tears because I won't get to enjoy the
con until my costume is finished, and who knows how long
that will take!

Then the dream skipped a little (you know how they do that)
and I was in some lobby place with a flight of stairs next to
me. My group and I were being harassed by some dude
who looked suspiciously like the ShamWow guy. He was
asking us (more like telling us) to let him stay in our room
during the con. We kept saying no, and he just kept bothering us!


How freakish! I hope nothing like that actually happens. XD

I had a dream that I showed up at the con 3 weeks early.

Another one was that Jill Valentine RE3 was the most popular costume and they were everywhere.

Another one was that I brought the materials for my Chii costume (all neatly folded yards and buttons), but left my Great Fairy at home.

Another one was that someone has scattered my Jill costume all over the con in weird places--I had to get a boot from a wall sconce by swinging on a chandelier. I had to dig up the skirt. My gun was in a puzzle box. Man, that sucked.

I had a dream that everyone had the same exact costume as me.
It was strange.
Then I had a dream that it took me the whole con to put one of my costumes on.
Then I had another dream that the whole con center collapsed.
Then I had one where the Dealer's Room was like a giant grocery store with really tall shelves full of food.
Also, my friends and I always have Acen nightmares on the same days. It's weird. XD

I've had a nightmare about missing my train to ACen and then it just got whimsical and weird, like most of my dreams do.

I actually just woke up from a nap about 30 minutes ago. I had a dream that I was at ACen, but it wasn't at the actual convention center. It was in the food court of a mall or something. O_o Then I saw my friends Rachel and Carolyn. They were ordering fried chicken, when I saw my grandma right outside the door (she passed away in 2006). I started chasing after, crying and yelling hysterically. I was just about to be taken away by the cops (they thought I was crazy with the scene I was making) then the dream ended.

President Obama was a special guest. He was eating chocolate cake with strawberry frosting. He gave me a piece of it, but then he dropped it on my head.

my sister told me of a nightmare about acen she had two weeks ago. We had all gone to acen bringing along our gay friend who knows nothing about anime. The whole thing was pretty much him being really rude and obnoxious.

i had a nightmare where on the friday of acen, I fell asleep to take a small nap and woke up on saturday, like i missed an entire day.

I had one a few nights ago. Since it's my first ACen, I'm not quite sure what the layout of the dealer's room will be, but I had a nightmare that I went into the room, and the majority of the booths were selling Legos... and the ones that weren't only had Naruto and Bleach stuff. There was no Artist Alley, either. I woke up crying.

I had a dream the other day that there was someone there selling special large shoes. Probably because I was going to get shoes for acen the next day, and I have huge feet. But these special shoes were like, 3 feet long and bigger.

I have frequent ACen dreams, but the past few weeks they've all centered around getting to ACen on Friday, and then magically jumping to Sunday afternoon and me wondering where the weekend went.

"Wha...wait. Huh? Wh-where'd ACen go?!"

And then I wake up and realize it's a dream. One of the few time I'd say thank god ACen ain't here yet.
