Hey all, just putting out a quick word. Been scanning/pseudo lurking the forums here in AA and I wanted ot speak up a little bit.

I've been taking note of the posts and folks' artwork and I gotta say it looks like we have a bumper crop of fine, TALENTED people coming in this year. I've been doing AA for the last ten years (with a short hiatus in 2007-got married) and I am just super excited from what I'm seeing. I consider myself proud, honored, and privileged to be sharing space with the lot of you this year.

For newcomers especially, I know it can be a daunting experience, if you haven't done this before, but you are stepping into a great community. And if you are worried at all, there ARE people here who will help/encourage you.

One of them has a big ol' Panda head in their banner.

Let's all remember that we're a community, a team of like-minded creatives that have something to share with the world, whether it be single-piece art, crafts, or in our case comics. Art can change the world and because of that, WE can change the world.

Let's do this thing and I look forward to meeting all of you.

kudos to everyone as well. The reg process was fairly seamless for a large con, and all of the artists seem really great! I'm looking forward to it as well!
