I'm not staff, so this may not be right, but I think Kerry Freedman is doing the panel "How Manga Changed the World" from 9:30-10:30 on Saturday. Though, since Kerry Freedman is a professor at NIU, and your friend is a student at NIU, your friend should be able to ask Kerry Freedman in person to be absolutely sure. You're unlikely to get an answer from staff at this point, since I'm pretty sure that they're all at the con doing con-type stuff.

I think that last year they were in the programming books, so I'm guessing that they will also be this year.
