HERE is the Link to the Current Version of the ACEN 09 Schedule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HTML Version: http://www.acenpanel...r_Schedule.html
-- UPDATED 4/30/2009

To make things a bit easier for planning I went ahead and did this...

Master Unedited Floor Plan: http://www.ohare.hyatt.com/hyatt/images/ho...o/floorplan.pdf
Entry Level Edited: http://www.acenpanel..._Level_edit.png
Basement Level Edited: http://www.acenpanel...sement_edit.png
DoubleTree Hotel: http://doubletree.hilton.com/en/hotels/con...plans/chiml.gif (Look for SIGNATURE)

This highlights most of what is scheduled on those files with cute little stars.

PLEASE check your panel time, ensure nothing conflicts and everything is there...

I will open up comments for a bit, the moment this gets OFF track, I am closing it.

CHANGES/QUESTIONS/REQUESTS

USE CONTACT US @ www.acenpanels.org

OR

E-mail: panelprogramming [A.T] acen.org
CC: pkgingo [A.T] gmail.com

PLEASE make the subject SCHEDULE or SCHEDULE FIX, we get TONS AND TONS of e-mail, make your e-mail stand out, don't be confusing...

POSTING YOUR ISSUE HERE, WILL NOT GET IT RESOLVED, IF YOU HAVE A WRONG TIME, WRONG NAME, TITLE ETC, SEE THE CONTACT US ABOVE!

Cleaning up posts... its getting OFF topic again...

FAQ:

Q: How come not everything is on there? Where are the rest of the autographs? How come its not aligned perfectly? How come My Lover Vic doesn't have more time?
A: This is not a 100% FINALIZED schedule, Guests/Bands/VA's etc all can be changed ALL the way up till the CONVENTION. AUTOGRAPHS ARE NOT FINALIZED !!!!!
................ CHECK THE CONVENTION SCHEDULE... AT THE CONVENTION! THIS IS THE FINALIZED VERSION !!!!! ...................

Q: Will there be another "Panel" of this, or When does "this" panel happen.
A: This "Panel" you speak of, should be on the schedule, again... CHECK THE CONVENTION SCHEDULE.. AT THE CONVENTION !!!!

Q: I wanna print these, but they look bad when I print them?
A: These are not properly formatted to be printed, these are here as REFERENCE points to fix any huge glitches before final production for PANELISTS.......................

Q: Did you get my e-mail about my issue?
A: Most likely we did, why are you posting in THIS thread asking? You are suppose to use the Contact Us Method, SEE ABOVE for methods.

Q: Where is the Signature A/B I do not see it anywhere?
A: This room is the large Ballroom at the DoubleTree Hotel which is accessible via the Street of the Walkway that connects the convention center. It is very easy to get too.

Q: I Do not see my favorite person on the list... where are they?
A: If you do not see them on the list, again guest/autographs are not finalized, check your convention schedule.... for master lists of these guests.

Q: My panel looks like it starts @ 2:35, or 2:45, its not aligned properly.

A: This is just how it worked when we converted them to PDF for you guys to be able to VIEW. Your Panel most likely if it looks like 2:35 will start @ 2:30 PM, the alignment is slightly off, again the Final AT convention schedule will be 100% fixed and aligned perfectly and have colors just like you see there. I recommend you use a RULER or something when you read it, it helps a lot.

Q: Why did you schedule main events like THIS?
A: Since we have Bands, Big events like Anime Hell etc, Sometimes we have to schedule these against each other, while some people have issues with this, it does give some people a chance to see one or other without the huge crowds, we do our best, but ACen has a lot of awsome programming every year, we have to balance this with Panelists, Main events, Guests, Voice Actors, etc, it is more delicate then you think.

Q: I do not like the PDF versions...
A: Again, get the latest version from your program book, I posted an HTML version as well, to use as another reference point.

-- SCHEDULE IS AS OF 4/30/09

SCHEDULER APP IS UP AND RUNNING! MANY THANKS TO NATHAN WEBER!!!

Like I said... It will be look a bit bigger, easier to read in the final production version.... I am not going to keep answering this question... This LAYOUT with rooms up top and times on the left is going to stay the same, but it will be more spaced out and easier to read.

what is the " who want to be a voice actor?" anyway?
is it like a room fill with people, who are select to come up to the front of the room & are given script of the lines, mikes & try to mach the lip flaps?
if so I'll try to make there.

I also have questions and it's about the Friday Slants/move concert. Hopefully, this is the right place to ask the question since I don't know where to fit this concert question.

I only want to go to see move and rather not see Slant. But since they're bunched together, it might not be possible for me to see move w/o seeing Slant.
Does anyone know if move would be performing first or the Slant?

I would assume that the Slants would be performing first since they would probably be the opening band, but that is just my thinking. The bigger band usually doesn't play first. I am not in charge of this so I do not know, but this is just my opinion.

The AMV room schedule on the current version posted is not accurate. Also the Sunday 12:30-14:30 block in main programming should be "AMV Contest" instead of "AMV Awards". Panel programming is aware of this inconsistency with their posted version but the documents in this thread may not be updated again so I wanted to point this out.

The below link shows what you will get in materials at con regarding AMV programming.

I've got a possibly-dumb question: Where's the Artists' Alley gonna be? I didn't see it marked anywhere on the maps/schedule.

These maps are for panel programming, which is mostly located in the Hyatt and Doubletree. And I think they have a room or two at the Embassy. The Artist Alley is in the Stevenson Convention Center with registration and the exibitor hall.

Artist's Alley and the Dealer's Room will be in Hall F of the convention center. When you go in, walk straight back and you'll see the doors for Hall F right by the Hummel room. :) Can't miss it!

quick question: even though I've been going to ACen for, like, three years, I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to going to panels (I always just hit the dealers room and that was it). This year I decided to really get into the whole panel thing, but while looking at the schedule, I noticed that a lot of the things I want to go to are back to back; for instance, I want to go to Masquerade (Main Programming; 6:00-9:00), but I also want to go to the "Ghibli at a Glance" panel (Malpensa; 9:00-10:30). Do these things start right on the dot, or would I have time to get where I want to go?

We try to start most things on time, if its a main programming thing thats usually done on time, but we have had delays in the past. so you never really know. Usually non Main programming or panels start on time.

At this point I'd say look through the program book when you get your goody bag. Best to go by the official schedule at con.
