Ohhhh, Takahashi.
I love her voice acting. <3
Hopefully she'll be doing a signing so I can get the first volume of Otome wa boku ni koishiteru signed by her. ~

I've never heard of Kidokoro, and google doesn't seem to like me. Is there a site or something that I can see her manga work and cosplays at?

Unfortunately, I don't watch dubs, so I don't know who anyone else is. ^^;

Oh, thank God. Now when I post the Video Programming schedule, I can post all the shows that are going to have directors and voice actors talking about them and giving commentary.

Like Cosplay Complex, Wallflower, and Ouran Host Club.
There is a slight flaw in my character.

Very nice & unexpected as she voices one of my favorite girls Azusa Miura from the Arcade & Xbox 360 game "The Idolm@ster."

Potentially awkward too since her works listed on ANN show some more mature titles.

Excellent! Just one more to go. Wonder what the last guest will be? It should be a major guest, or otherwise, the revealing of it will be anti-climactic.

I see the final guest to be either a North American VA who did a lot of work (like Crispin Freeman, Steven Blum, JYB, etc) or Japanese mangaka/director/VA (insert your fav but realistically-to-acquire Japanese anime/manga person).

Aside, my bro would be psyched about Ms. Takahashi and her work for Rumbling Hearts. He loves that anime.

Yes:
-Her illustrations (It takes a while to load but it was the best gallery I could find)
-Some cosplay

As for who she is, she's an illustrator, cosplayer, and tarento. There's an illustration resume on her blog. She has a tarento resume, too.

Was wondering about him too after some googling. Can't be the athlete. Most likely a relatively unknown celebrity, or perhaps, (very wild idea) the final unannounced guest has something to do with Eyeshield and wanted a football player there.

We'll just wait and see unless someone here knows more about this not-the-football-player Alex Morrow.

I think I got it. Alex Morrow should be this guy - http://www.ocremix.o...st/4541/djcomet //a videogame music DJ.

It only makes sense since a lot of congoers are also gamers. Also, the guest Josh McInnes is another vg dj it seems - http://vgmdb.net/artist/4222

If I'm not mistaken, then "No+ Chin" is most likely another dj since the name is surrounded by 2 other dj names.

If all this is true, it seems overkilled to have so many dj's, but then those who are attending dances this year are in for a reeeaaal treat.

Briefasa, there is still one more TBA according to Post #1 above.

Ah, I see now, Illia sticked in the post about Caitlin coming just I was composing my previous post. I guess my theory about the last guest being a big one is kind of true. I was hoping for JYB and Steven Blum.

Anyhow, I love Caitlin Glass. Just wished there were more coming.

*sighs* Caitlin Glass is the big guest we were waiting for? I mean, I like her and all, but really? I saw her last year...I'm not griping or anything, just dissapointed.

Look at 07's guest list. That year was AMAZING. This year I feel, well...dissapointed. There really isnt anyone I desperately want to see. Almost every year there is at least one person I really want to see very badly, but this year, not so much. I appreciate everyones hard work and what they do to get a guest list, but I dunno. I'd just think that with every year more and more people attend acen and the guest list has pretty much stayed amazing except for this year.

This is just my opinion though. I dont want to start anything or any arguments. ;__; so ignore this if you must.

Really? That's it? So we only get three japanese guests and a japanese band? As much as Nabeshin is a fan favorite but he's been here twice already and then we have a cosplayer and a VA who doesn't seem to have played a large role in any of the popular animes she's been in (correct me if I'm wrong about this but glancing at her resume, it doesn't seem very impressive). I know you guys are probably under a lot of pressure right now and I don't mean to add stress but I'd kinda like to know what happened. Was this intentional? Did a lot of people fall through? Does Acen have a bad rep? What is going on that we can't get better japanese guests?

Personally, I'm excited to see the guest list this year... especially m.o.v.e., Chiaki Takahashi, & Nabeshin!

Nabeshin might have been to ACen twice before, but I didn't have a chance to meet him, so I'm geeked. I think that ACen has done a great job at getting guests this year and I'm actually really excited about the guests. But I guess that's just the way it goes... you'll never make everyone happy, and not everyone likes the same guests.

But thank you ACen!

Hmm... I think given some concerns over Japanese guests and I am the one who is putting together guest panels that I can leak a couple panels for them.

Well, interesting thing with Chiyaki Takahashi- Amongst the major things she does is dubbing of American Television shows for Japan (that was fun looking at from the press sheet I got when she was confirmed). I think this reverse side of dubbing warrants a panel as people seem to not realize that a lot of American film and television is dubbed for Japanese audiences.

Also one thing we are doing is placing her with the American VAs to discuss both ends of the dubbing process as it is very different in japan versus the US.

I am trying to ensure we have some interesting panels for our guests. :)

Tiffany Grant had some awesome panel suggestions. Stage Acting versus Voice Acting comes to mind.

And for the fangirls.... Bishonen Unite.... Vic and Mark (Edward Elric and Heero Yuy) are going to be paired up.

So I am not leaking everything at this time, but just to give you an idea of things to look forward to.

ANN list these as some of her major roles & most of these shows while niche were well recieved.

Available here on DVD:
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien as Mitsuki Hayase (very highly rated)
Cosplay Complex as Reika Aoshima
Otoboku - maidens are falling for me! as Takako Itsukushima

Not licensed or released in the US:
Chaos;HEAd as Mia Kusunoki; Yua Kusunoki (soon to be released as game on the Xbox 360 in JP)
Futakoi as Ai Momoi; Billy
Final Approach as Emiho Mutsu
School Days as Nanami Kanroji (nice boat)
Tales of Agriculture as Aya Hirooka

Her minor roles includes fan favorites shows like Hellsing & Full Metal Panic!

She was part of a shortlived seiyuu pop singing group Aice5 brought together to do two anime themes.

She is the voice of Azusa Miura from "The Idolm@ster" & can sing as heard in this video montage of several songs she performs in the game.

How about setting up a mini-concert for her ACEN?
